I have stayed here on a number of occasions and to be honest I honestly feel the majority of the room doors need adjusting.
Each time anyone leave or enters there room the door SLAMS so hard they you will be woken from your sleep. Trust me it is exceptionally loud, that despite wearing earplugs I was still woken up repeatedly, and I am NOT a light sleeper.
The staff members Beth and Eeimam were excellent and helpful.
The rooms are clean, the morning coffee and cake is lovely, so no real complaints.
But the fact you can’t get a good night sleep due to the doors is a real issue. I also feel that it only takes a slight adjustment on the closing door mechanism, so that when each door closes, it does not slam… Once this is resolved it will be great. I am hoping to return back soon and hope it’s resolved by then and I’ll leave an updated review.

Towel in toilet was wet.
Bathroom shave light not working.
3rd floor rooms closures are damaged where all night each time any other resident left or arrived there was a loud bang that even the walls shook.
The shower tray was blocked.
The staff member the night before was quite unapproachable, however Chloe was very helpful.
Came for a good night sleep, left more exhausted than I came. Maybe would have slept better at home where it’s a building site at the moment.

Hotel was great staff lovely and good breakfast with cereal for gf.
Only downside was the room was very warm as the windows can’t be opened fully

Had to upgrade for an extra £25, just for a normal double sized bed. Had booked a standard room for 2 people, no chance in the tiny bed. Not even a kettle in the room. The lady at reception was lovely and helped us lots
