Really nice!

Very nice and cozy hotel. The breakfast is really nice. The staff is pleasant. It should be taken into account that the hotel is located up on the hill, so it is better to arrive by car.

Terrible stay

The man that checked me in was very welcoming and informative but the man that was at the check in counter the following day was rude and unhelpful.

The rooms that I was put into. The first was dark and depressing and had blood stains on the bed cover. so I asked to be moved and was placed into a room that was extremely hot and the Air conditioning didn't work. I had to leave and didn't complete my stay. I told the rude guy on the counter and he replied that these things happen The beds were so uncomfortable and pillows old and flat

An average hotel, but not a 4-star hotel

The room was clean and the food at breakfast was of good quality

I expected much more considering the price I paid and the fact that this is a 4-star hotel. There aren’t enough parking spaces for all guests, the facilities in the room were quite average or even below average eg the bed was rather hard and the curtains didn’t fully shut. There was a fridge in the room which was quite dated and noisy, and the AC unit in the room was also really noisy. The bathroom was okay, nothing special and certainly not something you’d expect from a 4-start hotel - old facilities in need of replacement.

Nice hotel exceeded expectations for price.

AC was nice, bathroom was great but the shower seals could be updated. Decent location, lots of public parking nearby so you don't have to pay for the garage.

Great small boutique hotel

Great small boutique hotel. Super comfortable bed. Amazing breakfast for really good price. It is not in the city center but we've enjoyed very much the 20 min walk. We will definatelly return.

Smelly, filthy hotel

Absolutely nothing. If there is a zero star I would give to this hotel. I am not sure how people recommend this hotel or how even got a 4 stars rating .the hotel is super filthy , the room smells and AC of course is not functioning . Staff are super rude and it is not a wheelchair accessible, you don’t even get a help to carry your luggage so if have a children or a mobility issue then this hotel is not a choice for you. Don’t even think about it .

Excellent Small Hotel in Trieste

Staff were incredible, despite arriving ridiculously early and in needing of a rest, they managed to check us in there and then and allowed us that much needed break. The little things like the drinks and snacks in the fridge were such a lovely small touch. The breakfast in the morning, out of this world

The only downside, a little is the location. It is a little outside of the main thoroughfares. That said, I knew this when booking so it it wasn't a big deal at all. Taxi service in the city is excellent too , so very easy to get around.

Nice hotel, a bit off the beaten track, small rooms.

Lovely breakfast, spotlessly clean.

Rooms are very small, location is far from the centre, and involves hiking up lots of steep streets and stairs to get there and back. No gym, no restaurant apart from breakfast.

Basic rooms poor shower, great staff and breakfast, a 25mins walking distance to town centre and be prepared for hills.

The staff were very polite and helpful and the breakfast (which was included) was fantastic for a buffet type. With a great little selection and very tasty. The bed was very comfortable and the WiFi was great.

My main gripe was the small shower cubicle, I’m only 5’6” and my arms were bouncing off the doors and the 1/2 curtain. I dreaded getting in!

Poor

I had a reservation for two nights. unfortunately I lost my flight so I spent only one night at the hotel. when I asked for checkout they charged me for two nights. I tried to explain them the situation but they refused to make me any short of discount at the end. the administration doesn’t know how to manage their clients. it is a small hotel only for italian people who travel to Trieste for holidays. If you are a business Traveller avoid this hotel . if you like to spend some days in Trieste with your family /or friends , it is a fair choice.

Very nice, cozy hotel

Very nice, cozy hotel with kind & helpful staff. I've been allowed to check-in even a bit earlier :) The room was clean with enough space, with view of see ( a bit). We had a tasty breakfast & quiet place to have a rest. I woke up at 7 o'clock becuase of the delicious smell of croissants :) There is a tiny garage for 2 cars if you don't want to park outside. So you need to book it & pay. But it's up to you, because it's really possible to find the place close to the hotel along the streets (free of charge). The hotel is not far from the main square, but it's a bit on the hill, so if you are walking, be ready to go up to the hotel after fabilous pizza :)

I definitely should not have assumed, but I really thought that a 4 star hotel would include gluten-free items on the breakfast buffet. My mother was able to find enough to eat for the meal but it was disappointing not to have many options

this is a fine little boutique hotel, off the beaten track in Trieste. great room, friendly front desk staff. I’ll happily use this hotel again the next time I visit.

the only negative is that there is construction (September 2022) directly adjacent, and the men begin work at 0730. also, the room had no view whatsoever, so that might be a consideration.

air con didn’t feel it worked well, lack of breakfast choice unless liked sweets. fair away from the centre all up hill.. no milk facility with the coffee making services in the room, have to pay extra for milk! mini bar contained 2 x water, 1 x peach tea & coke and door didn’t shut so not cold…

Nice and cosy hotel to stay in Triest

Very-very friendly staff, small but nice room, very good breakfast, good location, it is easy to park anywhere around the hotel for free. The city center is only 15 minutes away (walking distance).

The doors should have something which prevents them to slam. Between 7 and 9 am we heard around 10-20 times the doors on our floor… Although the neighborhood of the hotel was very quite and nice, we couldn’t sleep :(
