Unpleasant experience!

The Duplex is a beautiful Victorian mansions with a great location near the beach and shops.

I'm really displeased about the services during my stay there. Firstly, after paying for a cleaning fee, I still found the place dirty. The bin in the kitchen still had trash inside it. Underneath the large sofa, it had some litter also. Some bathrooms had dirty mirrors, too. The dining table in the sitting room was sticky and quite frankly disgusting. In the kitchen, our washing machine did not function at all, meaning we couldn't even wash our clothes. Furthermore, there were maggots nest behind the switch in the boiler cupboard. The most frustrating thing, however, was getting access to the WiFi, which should have been done prior to our visit. I wasn't given any information on where the router or WiFi connection is, nothing on the network name, nothing on the password or network key. The replacement washing machine was sent the evening before our checkout was old and smelly, so we couldn't even do laundry. It was a really bad experience!

Amazing home from home

Burlington Mansions is beautiful, very secure, with parking included. The duplex we stayed in is beautiful, very comfortable and far bigger than we thought. The master bedroom and bathroom are really big with a huge bath and twin vanity. The kitchen has everything you need. Nicole is a sweetheart and answers any queries immediately, and nothing is too much trouble. We liked it so much, we've booked in for another 2 weeks, a comfortable home from home

Amazing bank holiday stay.

Amazing space and huge rooms. The location was great as only a few minutes walk to the beach. The apartment was extremely clean and the kitchen was well stocked and had all the facilities you could need. Very friendly owner who took care of us.would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Bournemouth

Superb

Excellent location a few minutes walk to the beach, and about 5-10 minutes to Boscombe town centre. Walking to Bournemouth pier is about 30-40 minutes depending on how fast you walk. There were a few basics missing, but nothing serious. It would be nice to have a welcome pack with info about the apartment ie; WiFi code, location of gym within the building, how to work the tv. There were no tea towels in the kitchen, so washing up had to be drip dried, getting things out the oven was also a bit tricky. There was no shower mat in the upstairs bathroom either so had to use a towel. Other than these tiny little bits, the apartment was lovely. Excellent location a few minutes walk to the beach, and about 10 minutes to Boscombe town centre. Walking to Bournemouth pier is about 30-40 minutes depending on how fast you walk.

Not a three bedroom apartment

The property overall was fine. En-suite in master bathroom could have been cleaner but was fine. This shouldn’t be advertised as a three bedroom as the bunk beds are on the landing outside the master bedroom with no door or window. Also, when we returned from dinner on Sunday, there was another couple trying to get into the apartment as they had booked it on another site. This is not ideal.

Will definitely come back again!

Very nice apartment in an excellent location. Well equipped kitchen and lovely airy rooms. Main building is beautiful and parking was very convenient. Space was well used and nicely decorated. Great Deliveroo options locally too!

A bit lacking with some furniture - no drawers for clothes but quite a bit of wardrobe space. No bedside tables for bunks or in ground floor room. Could have done with a larger frying pan as we did cook for ourselves. Otherwise the kitchen was very well kitted out.
