It is perfect location for accessing the Old Town of Dubrovnik. Just outside the main city gate, only a 10 minute walk max. You have the advantage of being away from the heavy crowds (and noise) and big lugging cases up massive stairways, if you were to stay in Old Town- but you can be part if it almost immediately. The house has a lovely garden, a pathway up to the coast edge (another route into town) and the gentle sound Symphony Orchestra rehearsing in the mornings in the mansion next door!
There isn’t a communal sitting room within the apartment (only a small table in a quite small kitchen)- but alternatively it was lovely to sit out in the garden around the table there. (Also there was no bread toaster.) The host was very friendly and helpful.

Die Lage ist wunderbar, in einem schönen Garten, neben einem Park von dem aus man das Meer sehen kann. Der Park wird gerade renoviert, sollte aber vor dem Sommer fertiggestellt sein. Die Altstadt ist einige Minuten zu Fuss entfernt, und am Weg sind Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Der Gastgeber ist supernett.
Es hat uns alles gefallen.
