A special place to stay!

Our great stay was in an impressive apartment interior style - Jimi Hendrix. Rock Palace is a place whose special arrangement, aura and style idea of the apartments will be perfectly understood by artists, musicians and bohemians. The hosts are very friendly and helpful - great personalities. The terrace of the apartment offers an impressive view of the sea, mountains and the city. Very good location and an interesting path along the steps from the old town to the Rock Palace - we really enjoyed it. If you like to cook, then here is everything you need to do it. If we return to Dubrovnik, then we will definitely stay here again - I highly recommend this place.

Great stay

Great apartment & loved the rock theme. Arrived late and left early for a ferry so didn’t have much time to enjoy the place and surrounding area but facilities were great in the short time we were there. We were greeted by the owners son who was very welcoming & helpful for recommendations in the local area

Great location and nice apartment for a short getaway

The location is great and only around 15 minutes by foot to the old town. Supermarkets and a bus stop are conveniently located nearby. The apartment itself had everything needed for a short stay.

Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi signal was very weak, and the refrigerator didn't cool properly, which made it difficult to store food that might spoil in the heat.

Rocking place in Dubrovnik

The hostess was kind and open to help and offer advice to explore the city. The location was good, very convenient, near Old Town, and easy to access on foot or by car. The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen and fridge were nice.

They have free Wi-Fi, but it did not work; having data on your phone is better. I have the same opinion about TV: if you have to be fun, get out of the room and get to know the city.

A well located flat with friendly host.

Very friendly host who provided detergent and sugar on request and explanations about Dubrovnik. Apartment is spacious enough and has a washing machine and a small kitchenette. There were two super cute tortoises on the premises. If you are into rock and roll, you'll approve the decorations. Flat is a 10 minute, steep walk down to the old town and a block away from the start of the hiking trail that takes you to the top of the cable car.

Wifi signal was very weak and unless you went out of the room you would not get any service. I ended up using most of my phone cell data at night from bed. I was expecting a view but there was none, so it felt dark and disappointing. You had to get out of the apartment to a hallway to get a view and some light. Sheets and pillows were very uncomfortable. There was no sound proofing, so I could hear noise from immediately above. The host only took cash which is quite inconvenient. There was motion-triggered light which was switched on and off throughout the night, making sleeping in total darkness impossible. The price is too high for what you get.

Good when the apartment is not too important for you

We really liked the proximity to the old town. It's a few steps but it only takes 10 minutes and the way is quite nice.

Although Zlatan is a really nice host, the apartment is pretty old and really needs a renovation. The floor of the shower is broken, the plugs are loose, the beds are much too soft and it is dirty (spinwebs, hair in the sink, dust...).

Nice place with a very nice host. Rather big and very light apartment. Top style interior! Very quiet location not far from the Old City. Sweet terrace with a sea view. The host was really friendly and gave recommendations for spending our time in the city. Thanks for nearest parking recommendation!

The kitchen stuff was not very clean, but there was a washing liquid and a new sponge so we could wash it ourselves. You can't get right to the door by your car (but it's common Dubrovnik's reality).

Location was great, owner helpful and friendly. We stayed when it was cold and the radiators kept the rooms comfortable and cozy. Pretty view and really neat apartment especially if you are into music!

no doors in shower so floors would get wet. location was confusing. messaged the owner a few times to get the parking’s location but didnt get a fast reply so we had to drive multiple rounds because we got lost.

It was a fantastic apartment with amazing sea view, and the host is very nice!

The sea view at the balcony was amazing. Like the decoration of the apartment. Close to the old town, walk to the town and come back by taxi. The host is very nice. Would recommend it!

The shower box was a bit blocked, that we can only take very short showers otherwise the water overflow.

OK place and location.

The location is pretty good and about a ten minute down hill to the old town. The room is a very funky, especially if you are a music fan. Parking is good under the apartment a couple of flight of stairs down. Don't miss the turning as its a 20 minute drive around the one way system.

Everything smelt a bit damp and old. Shower was more a mixer tap so very hot or cold. The facilities are pretty dated, especially the towels, id say older than my teenager. Having to pay in cash was a bit annoying, but not uncommon in Croatia.

there was too many bugs, spiders and mosqitos in my room. i couldnt sleep and i slept on my parents rooms sofa. when i tell the owner he came and try to help with vacuum cleaner but still there is some bugs and i couldnt sleep in that room also couldnt use the shower. it wasnt clean at all. im really sorry to write such a bad review but i paid one room for nothing because we all 3 used the same room because of the spider in my room

beautiful days with initial obstacles

It was a very interesting place with a terrace with a beautiful view on the sea. It also had a parking place for one car.

Although the owner calls it a “pet friendly” place he seemed not so amused with our reactive dogs. Also he told us he has parking space for our two cars but in reality he has space for only one car and the other car had to park ca. 10 minutes away (which wasn’t that bad but wrongly communicated)
