Great place for a long weekend

-Everything you'd need -Host was friendly -Nice view from the terrace -Nice garden to chill -Room tidyed up regularly -Not central but not too far from old town. Walking distance -Supermarkets and bus stop nearby -Airport express bus stop less than 10 min away

-Reviews that complained about the stairs. It's a lot of them as the house is on a hill side, but that's Dubrovnik for you other than the 4 star hotels by the main old road -Bed covers could do with a renewal. Not a big issue but visually they look a little old

Wonderful accommodation

Beautiful view over pool, garden, town and sea. Family was taking really well care of me; explaining were I could buy food, gave me a welcome drink and simply made me feel genually welcomed.

There are really many steps to the old town as it is halfway up the hillside. But the pool is wonderful to cool yourself in after the stair training 😉

Nice holiday near Dubrovnik old town

We liked everything! The apartment was comfy and clean. Nicol and her whole family were very friendly and made us feel really welcomed and cozy during our one week holiday. The location was good as the old town is near. If we come back to Dubrovnik, we definitely know where to stay😀

Amazing apartment in Dubrovnik

The studio has everything you could want for a great stay in Dubrovnik. Comfortable bed and great shower and everything in immaculate condition. We were kindly greeted on arrival with a warm welcome and a welcome drink. Nicholas and his family were very kind and generous hosts. We will definitely return here if we come back to Dubrovnik and would recommend it highly. Thank you for having us.

Lovely hosts , good apartment

Lovely friendly hosts , well equipped , spotless apartment with great view from balcony. Very glad we followed their recommendations for a boat trip and restaurant . Pool area very welcome after climbing back up from Dubrovnik town .

Nothing we didn’t like but as the owner says ‘it is their history’ and as others have commented you do need to be pretty fit to cope with the stairs . 10 mins to Dubrovnik town , more like 25 mins back at my age!

Welcoming and well placed.

Wonderful hosts. Fine location. Comfortable and spacious apartments with excellent facilities. We were treated to a welcome drink and an excellent briefing by Nicol on how to get around, what is good to do and so on. Then we were given a barbecue lunch on our penultimate day.

Hundreds of steps too and from the town, but only 20 minutes, and there is always the bus.

Great family option just outside of old town

We had two different apartments, and liked both of them. Very clean. The property as a whole is very comfortable, with a large terrace that we frequently spent time on. (I even took a nap on the sofa there once!) It was so nice to relax and eat there after a tiring day out in the heat. The pool was an absolute lifesaver for cooling off after making the trek back up a million stairs, and for providing something fun to do in a city that doesn't have a lot geared toward kids. My kids also loved the family of turtles that live semi-wild on the terrace and occasionally made appearances. The host family lives on site and was very friendly, even sharing their food with us.

It's not a long walk to Old Town going down, but going from Old Town to the apartments, you're going to be walking up a ton of stairs. This was a lot harder than we expected. And unfortunately, there's not a lot in the immediate area to do, see, or eat, so you have to walk down to Old Town a lot. We did enjoy the pizza place close by, though, on the nights we were too tired to make the trek downtown just for dinner.

Impeccably clean room, pool, and common areas. Large comfortable bed. Welcoming, hospitable host who gave an orientation of the property and points of interest on a map. Her restaurant recommendation was spot on. Ride to airport at 4am - convenient, comfortable, reliable, and reasonably price compared to other options. Pool was clean and refreshing after a long day of hiking and exploring in the sun. Nice common area with views for having a cocktail, reading book, playing cards, etc. Conveniences such as outdoor drying racks.

A flatter pillow for sleeping would have been nice. My husband, on the other hand, loved the thick, firm pillows.

Perfect stay

Property was in a good location, just a short walk to the old town. There are a lot of steps but I found this to be quite common in Dubrovnik. The apartment was clean and comfortable - massive bed! Lovely garden with a pool and large terrace. Quiet neighbourhood. The hosts were so lovely and accommodating. We felt very welcome from the moment we arrived. I would 100% stay here again.

Has to be our favourite holiday destination to date. Loved every single thing about the Dubrovnik

The view from our apartment was absolutely stunning. We had the balcony room and sat out overlooking the sea views every day and loved it. The apartment was spacious and comfortable and clean. All you would want and need. And the hosts were so friendly. Nicol helped us find the best places to eat and organised a boat tour to 3 islands which was amazing. Her father drove us back to the airport at the end of our holiday which was another bonus! Just super lovely people with a wonderful property 🥰

The stairs to the old town were pretty hard core. My son and I are fairly fit people. My son more than me, but we both ended up with sore legs by the end of our holiday. It’s still worth the experience though. Just an added bonus of a work out each time you need to come back to the apartment 😅

It was perfect for our purposes, but I wouldn’t have wanted to stay there during the hot weather as there wasn’t much private outside space to relax.

Lovely, but you need to be fit 🥵

It was a cute little apartment with a balcony and spectacular view. 2 double rooms were good size but there were only 2 of us so we had loads of space View and layout good Furniture is a little tired but still satisfactory. There were tea coffee and sugar left for us and enough equipment for us to cook and iron etc There’s a dipping pool and all towels are provided. Nicol was lovely and showed us where to go for food, restaurants and our meeting point for our trips and her dad kindly took us to the airport for €35 which was greatly appreciated. Overall a lovely stay

Nothing really The steps maybe a shuck if your aren’t fit. When it’s hot it’s very hot and the bus stop was all the way down in Old Town We did get some ants in the dining and kitchen area but it was sorted immediately.

Exceptional

A very comfortable family run apartment within walking distance from the old town.....Great location for marina too. Excellent welcome . The apartment is within the family's UNESCO listed building with great views from the lovely balcony. The 15 ft circular swimming pool was a great addition to our stay. Nicol and Nicola made us feel so welcome. I would love to return .

Sweet little apartment in quiet location.

Location was a short distance from the historic old town. The apartment is extremely well equipped, with hotel quality linens & towels and an enormous bed. The shared garden is very pretty and although we didn’t use the pool it looked perfect for a warmer day.

The apartment was perfect and the hospitality outstanding. However due to the hilly location and the number of stairs required to climb to get to band from the old city, it would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

Amazing place with an incredible host!

This is the best place we’ve stayed and the best host ever!! He welcomed us with our choice of juice or beer, showed us around town on a map and gave us recommendations, gave us coffee the morning we checked out, and let us leave our luggage with him for several hours after checking out. To top it all off, when our plans to get to our ferry failed, he very kindly drove us to the ferry port on last minute notice! The place had great air conditioning, a beautiful view, comfy beds, and a very cute living room/kitchen area. Will definitely plan on staying here again the next time I’m in Dubrovnik! Cannot recommend it enough!

The hosts were so lovely and welcoming, they showed us around the room and kindly gave us a map of the old town and recommended some places for us to visit. The location is great, a short walk to the old town. The apartment was spacious, clean and offered everything we needed. The hosts were happy to answer any questions for us and also kindly arranged an airport transfer for us. We will be back if we return to Dubrovnik!

From start to finish they couldn not do enough: My partner had a situation with travelling and they could not offer or do enough for us above and beyond the calll of duty. Extremely warm and welcoming hosts. The apartments are located in a quiet and peaceful area. The apartment itself was a good size (especially the bed) and fully appointed.

It must be mentioned it might prove challenging to get into and out of the old town if you struggle with stairs (however, if you struggle with stairs, Dubrovnik might not be the place for you). Not a problem for us (just take your time/take it easy) but may be for older guests.

gorgeous city break in a lovely well located apartment

such a great setting just 10mins walk into old town with all the sights, restaurants etc and the apartment is lovely with nice spacious rooms, comfy bed, AC, an outdoor area to eat breakfast and a pool/lounger area for relaxing in the sun. the family that run the apartments are on site and very helpful with tips and advice so we felt very well looked after. 3 supermarkets and a bakery 5mins walk away which are well stocked for self-catering.

the only suggestion I’d make is if a few basics could be provided in the kitchen like oil, salt and pepper as buying whole bottles for a few days stay is a bit expensive and wasteful.
