Barbara's Garden Apartment

La ubicación estaba cerca del centro, pero a la vez en un lugar tranquilo. La terraza hace que por la noche se agradable estar allí. Todo muy limpio y bien equipado. Lo recomendaremos.

Overall, the apartment was very nice and in a great location—close to a car park, a grocery store, bakery and with a long stairway with direct access down to Old Town Dubrovnik. It was clean and stocked nicely and it was nice to have an outdoor space. We had a couple kitties hanging out too ... we didn't mind.

Be aware that getting to the apartment involves a walk down about 30ish steep, older steps, which was quite difficult with luggage and may be challenging for anyone with mobility concerns or heavy suitcases. Additionally, the towels had a noticeable mildew smell, likely from not being fully dried. When we requested replacements, the host was initially a bit resistant but did eventually provide fresh towels. It was great that it has a washer! We would have just rewashed out towels but hanging to dry would have taken too long. It was a very nice stay but with a few small improvements, this would be an excellent stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Barbara's Garden Apartment. It is a lovely, clean apartment with a very nice garden to relax in. Vedran and Kate and family are wonderful hosts, very communicative and friendly and kindly allowed us to leave our bags when we arrived well before check in time. We were surprised by how spacious it was, the photos don't do that aspect justice. It has a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with a great shower. It is obviously up a lot of steps, but everywhere in Dubrovnik is and it's very well located and reachable from the old town and nice and quiet. There is an excellent bakery and supermarket nearby.

It was a bit hard to find initially, we could have done with better directions but once you know where it is it's very easy to get to. Otherwise everything was perfect.
