Maro & Baro Apartments, near Old Town Dubrovnik

Me and my partner had a fabulous stay here. As soon as we arrived the friendly host greeted us and informed us of the best places to visit in the city. She was very responsive and kind in going the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect for us, even offering a change of bed linen + towels midway through the stay. The apartment was clean, secluded and all the amenities necessary were present inside including a coffee machine !! The terrace below, even though shared, felt private and quiet. The pictures don’t do it justice, it was lovely inside and out.

You’ve probably already read this con multiple times if you are scouting Dubrovnik places to stay but you have to be physically fit to face the steps up.

Friendliness of the host and the closeness to Old Town

Nothing it was nice

Leonie, met us as promised at the apartment, she was very friendly and courteous, offering great advise on local transport and amenities in the surrounding area. We found the whole experience very calming and had a peaceful, pleasant stay. We would highly recommend this apartment, which is in the perfect location.

We didn't realise the shops would be closed on Victory Day,but we found a nice pub next door, which even gave us free ice. :))
