Apartments Regjo

The apartment was very spacious, well equipped with lots of little extras (drinks in the fridge, coffee, loads of toilet paper, razor, beach towels, sweets, vitamin drinks) which were much appreciated. There was a lovely welcome package when we arrived, consisting of a taster of the local tipple each, homemade truffles and swiss roll; not to mention the aircon had already been put on which was brilliant as it was so needed. The hosts were amazing, we had little homemade treats waiting for us when we arrived home most afternoons. Marija checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed and towels were restocked. She was so helpful. Tha apartment had a lovely roof terrace with views of the sea and city walls (especially if your a Game of Thrones fan), we loved the hot tub even when the temperature was 32°C outside it was a great way to round off the evening, watching the sun go down and the swallows playing. We loved the location, it was so close to the Old Town, restuarants, bakery (with the most delicious pies) shops and buses. Easy access to local attractions and places to swim; which are so much fun if you love jumping in off the rocks, good steps to get out. It felt super safe to leave your stuff whilst you were swimming. The streets are so quaint and charming with gorgeous foliage, it was nice not to have cars flying around and we enjoyed discovering new ways to get around town. We couldn't believe how lucky we were!!

The nearest supermarkets are well stocked but don't have a hugh selection. The Maxi Konzum was much bigger but a bit further away (a short bus ride or 25 min walk) but well worth stocking up if your there for a while. Although there are some good take aways 5 minutes away, we loved Jojo's burger and fries.after sunset kayaking.

Apartament miał wszystko co potrzeba a nawet więcej, w lodówce czekało na nas zimne piwko, jacuzzi na dachu rewelacja po dniu zwiedzania oraz niespodzianki od Mariji były wisienką na torcie.

Marija e Antun foram excelentes anfitriões e nos receberam como se fôssemos velhos amigos. Nós fomos tratados como se fôssemos da família. Marija toda hora nos surpreendia com doces e outros mimos e até mesmo nos presenteou com um bolo maravilhoso para comemorar o aniversário de uma amiga. Suas dicas de passeios foram muito importantes para tornar nossa estada mais divertida. A cozinha era bem equipada e eu até consegui preparar um jantar para meus amigos. A localização é ótima, pois fica muito perto da entrada da cidade velha, mas numa zona onde você consegue pedir um Uber. E a cereja do bolo é a jacuzzi, que nos permitia relaxar ao fim do dia no terraço, com vista para as muralhas da cidade velha.

Tomamos um susto ao descobrir que aquela região é proibida para veículos de não moradores. Felizmente, Marija conseguiu cadastrar nosso carro na vaga de uma amiga, evitando que tomássemos uma enorme multa.

We had a brilliant stay at apartment Regjo, the location was perfect and the jacuzzi was great to relax in! Marija is a great host and left us some tasty treats also, would highly recommend!
