We recently made a trip across Croatia, starting in Dubrovnik, and this place really set the bar high. The apartment was clean, super spacious, beautifully decorated and the owner was incredibly helpful and available when needed. The front door was set back from the nearby street which helped massively with keeping the noise down, and the area felt safe and friendly. It is about a 5 minute walk down to the old town (although this is via a lot of stairs) or 10 minute walk down the road which is easier but longer. It is also about 10 minute walk to the cable car station to go up the hill. In terms of food, you have all the restaurants the nearby old town provides, as well as several smaller markets nearby for little bits. The property came with a kitchen, three bedrooms and a bathroom that were all amazingly sized and had great views from the windows out to the sea. If we returned to Dubrovnik, we would look to stay here again

This property is perfect in every way. Apartment is very spacious and tastefully designed, and has a lovely view of the Old Town, which you can walk to easily. We had the two-bedroom apartment, which also had a room in the attic with a double bed that can be considered as the third bedroom. The place is fully equipped with a nice kitchen area, cooker, oven, dishwasher, utensils, washing machine, etc. They even provide you with bread, butter, jam, teas, coffee and condiments. Marko, our host, was very coomunicative and arranged our airport trasfers efficiently. Will definitely stay here again in the future and will also recommend it to our family and friends.

Great view of the Old Town. Marco was very helpful throughout our trip and the apartment had lots is special touches. We also did a tour through him from Trogir into Dubrovnik. Everything was top notch!

I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Dubrovnik! The location is perfect, 5-10 minute walk to most of the main sights. The view from the apartment is gorgeous. The host Marko is extremely accommodating and went out of his way to make our trip enjoyable!

Marko’s house is simply amazing, with a breathtaking view of the old town. The location is perfect — close to markets and everything you might need. The house is beautifully designed, spotless, and fully equipped with all the necessary amenities. The decor is tasteful and elegant, and the overall structure is very comfortable. Marko was an outstanding host — very helpful and attentive throughout our stay. I would recommend this place a thousand times over!

The apartment was perfect for our first few days of our trip to Croatia. We did not have a car and the location was walkable to Old Town Dubrovnik. The views were spectacular, and there was also a bakery and grocery store steps from the apartment which was really convenient—especially for our first morning there.

The perfect hosts, very friendly with great communication and thorough attention to detail with very considerate supplies of unbrellas (only needed once), toiletry essentials, food and wine on arrival. Excellent apartment, very close to old town. My mother and 5 year old loved it! Marko’s sister greeted us upon arrival, showed us where to park and gave lots of wonderful recommendations for our stay. Would definitely recommend booking this lovely apartment.

Apartments Cava was the most wonderful stay in Dubrovnik! Safe, clean, hospitable, great complimentary snacks and wine. Also Marko was the BEST host! Great transfer service to and from the airport/ferry terminal. Could not recommend this for you next trip more!

Apartment is just outside of the city walls which is perfect!! So quiet and not too many stairs (compared to other places our friends stayed). Staying in the city walls can be loud and difficult to carry your luggage through the crowds and tons of stairs. Apartment Cava has a couple stairs down from the main road, but Marko helped us with our bags. The apartment has an amazing view of the fortress and city walls. It’s only a 5 min walk from the city walls and all of the greatest shops and restaurants. It was super clean and spacious. Marko was super responsive with anything we needed and helped us with transportation to and from the airport and even suggested tours for us. I will definitely be staying here again when I come back to Dubrovnik!!

Throughout our travels through Croatia, this was our favorite place that we stayed! The views from the apartment were incredible, and the apartment was very clean and felt spacious compared to other places that we stayed on the trip. The bed was super comfy and the water pressure in the shower was great. The apartment is very close in proximity to the Old Town, but just know that there are a lot of stairs to get there (~150 - we counted one time). There are stairs everywhere in Dubrovnik though, and we didn't mind the exercise. Marko was an incredible host - he communicated with us about our arrival ahead of time and helped us with bags and drove us to the airport (for an additional fee) when it was time to leave. There was a heavy rainstorm during one of the days that we were there, and Marko supplied us with extra umbrella which we were very grateful for!! I would absolutely stay at this apartment when visiting Dubrovnik!

It was the best bed & breakfast apartment experience I've ever had, the location was great, the apartment was clean, host was helpful and friendly, nothing bad I can say Walk to Pile Gate is about 4 minutes, walk to public swimming Sulic is about 8 minutes

A few days before the trip to Dubrovnik, I contacted the owner MARCO who was very helpful from the start. He was very prompt on answering my queries which helped a lot (especially when visiting a foreign country). He arranged for our airport pick up (KOSTA - very nice guy) and his sister, Vedrana met us at the top of the street who led us to the apartment. She was very accommodating as well; a text away when needed.  The apartment is less than 5 min walk from gate PILE. There are a few ways to get to the place all of which though I must say, involves stairs. But DUBROVNIK is all about stairs! So it’s a NORM to get from point A to point B using lots of stairs!  The room is very nicely put together with a minimalist theme but very functional and chic. My friend and I stayed in this one bedroom apartment, used their pull up sofa for an extra bed.  To me having an owner that is very involved, a nice and clean place to sleep and a beautiful scenic view of the country account to a very worthwhile and amazing vacation. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit Dubrovnik.

This property was perfect for our 3 day stay in Dubrovnik. The view was spectacular. All the extras (coffee, tea, milk, bread, condiments, cookies) were such a pleasant surprise. Not to mention the umbrellas at our door when we woke to a rainy day. Would definitely stay here again.

It is a very beautiful apartment and clean and close to the square. Just walk through a lot of steps. Marko is a very nice and helpful host. He helped us with our luggages. The only hard one is the steps when you go back to the room. But they have beautiful view of the walls and Fortress through the window. G

I arrived early (about 11:30) with Marko (owner of the flats) providing the transfer from the airport. Only had to wait about 15 minutes or so and was let into the flat early - greatly appreciated after a long flight from Canada. Flat was very clean, and even some supplies were on-hand so I wouldn't have to rush out to the supermarket to get a few things. Marko had wonderful suggestions for restaurants. Since it's Dubrovnik, you have to get used to walking up and down stairs, but the flat is really close to the Pile gate so it's very convenient. Would definitely return!

The apartment is very clean, everything is new and there is enough space for you to feel comfortable. The location could not be any better. You are close to everything and can reach the old town within 3 minutes walking. The host is ULTRA kind, friendly, helpful and made sure the stay in the apartment was extremely good. If you find this apartment available for booking you don’t need to look for anything else. Book it immediatelly and I’m sure you’ll be very happy! Modern, well-supplied, well-decorated and spacious apartment just a couple of blocks outside the Pile Gate of Old Town. Comfy bed, great shower, nice view of the fortress and Adriatic. Marco was very helpful and also arranged our transportation to the airport. The stairs up to the apartment from the Pile Gate are no joke, my wife counted 139 of them, but Dubrovnik is stairs up and down everywhere (we took a taxi up the hill at least once).

Cava Apartments we’re amazing! Located about 7 minutes from the Old City walls, this renovated apartments were set quietly up on a hill with a view of the sea and the fortress. The room was clean and new. There was a coffee machine, stove, and mini fridge. The hosts were beyond nice. It was a great first stay in Dubrovnik. There are some stairs to get to the apartment from the city, but that’s everywhere in Dubrovnik. 10/10!!

We cannot say enough great things about Apartments Cava Dubrovnik and the owner, Marko. Even before we arrived, the communication was excellent. Marko picked us up from the airport and we had an excellent conversation. Once we arrived at the apartment, we were simply blown away. The view is absolutely stunning, the apartment is incredibly clean and modern with all the necessary amenities & very fast WiFi, and the location is just perfect for exploring the Old Town with just a short walk to the Pile Gate and loads of great restaurants. Throughout our stay, Marko checked in and was always willing to provide us with new towels, fresh sheets, new coffee, etc. When our flight was cancelled on our last day, Marko offered to help us out if we got stuck in Dubrovnik (thankfully we didn't get stranded), but that was really special and great of him to even have the courtesy to offer. When we come back to Dubrovnik, we will definitely be staying here again. Recommended to anyone looking for the best place to stay in Dubrovnik! We felt at home!

Beautiful apartment located in uphill dubrovnik away from the hustle and bustle of the tourists. Marko was a fantastic host, always available via email and provided us with wine and a few snacks. 10/10 would recommend and stay again!
