Above and beyond!

We're rating gladson guest house as this one was closed for maintenance. It was absolutely lovely. Nice and quiet! easy going with tenants that live there! Lovely staff! Would 100% recommend to anyone! Felt really welcomed! Excellent and really worth the money! Clean and tidy!

There is absolutely nothing that we didn't like. One of the best by far we've stayed in!

Not pleasant, didn't feel safe.

Located in a rundown area. Lots of trouble on the street police cars and riot vans out both nights of our stay. ,people causing trouble. Horrible boarded up houses. Had to park far away as when we parked near rental property people were going around the car looking in the window.

Awful.

Left a night early, the room was in disrepair. The lights in the bathroom broken the floor in room four had broken tile with pink tape around, the shower flooded the floor so I slipped. The milk provided in the complimentary tea was gone off by three months. There were two pillows for two guests when the pictures advertise four. The walls had cracks in, the pictures advertise a sky box but no sky box to be found, was in room four and there was a stain on the carpet. This is right at the front of the property so you hear everyone above and everyone outside and other guests coming in and out as well as cleaners. The shared kitchen had builders supplies in, and the neighbours stared at you, and room fours door slammed extremely hard. Ended up leaving a night early as I couldn’t deal with it

Really disappointed, could have been so nice just by providing basics.

Location of property. Convenience to amenities. Good email coresspondances at decent times giving explanation of how to get keys, accessing property and info on wifi codes. And further email sent to explain what do when it's time to leave.property.

No hot water! Why?? Shower and hand basin water therefore cold. Very cold room, despite heating on highest setting Stained bed linen. 2 flat pillows provided in double bed. Heating not on higher thermostat setting. No hand soap in bathroom. No full toilet roll given, despite claiming to provide toilet roll. Constant dripping of kichenette tap. Kitchenette is within bed room, therefore couldn't get to sleep.

We enjoyed our visit and would definitely stay at The Gladson again.

We did not stay at Burser St - we were moved to their other house around the corner called The Gladson which was fine. We enjoyed our stay. A quiet room with a comfy bed and a great walk-in shower. The fridge, toaster and microwave in the kitchenette were very handy. We would stay here again as the location was just a short stroll from the beach and town.

We were only given one pillow each so we requested to have more which they supplied the same day which we appreciated. Perhaps the double bed should always have 4 pillows?

Location fab, the room was fine we only went for 1 night, it had what we needed. The only problem was the toilet didnt flush and there was no water in the systen. (The cleaner would have been aware of this before we arrived).

This is NOT a review for Bursar Street. Read on to find out more The Gladson Guest House is situated on a roundabout on a very busy road on the outskirts of Cleethorpes town It was clean, the property inside was quiet.

THE 7* RATING ON THIS REVIEW IS NOT FOR BURSAR HOUSE. Bursar Street cancelled on the day of my booking and placed us in a b&b elsewhere. The Gladson Guest House. Despite 2 messages to Bursar Street the night before and on the morning of my booking, they eventually told me that my venue was changed. All of this by email and the email looked like a template email, having read other reviews I doubt it really was due to unforeseen maintenance that my booking was altered. Whilst the new venue wasn't inconvenient for us, it may have been for someone else and so I would have expected an offer of a full refund to be made. As you were not getting what you booked and paid for. Gladson Guest House - the only thing letting this place down was the mattress. It's virtually non-existant. The cheapest mattress on the market. Springs pinging all night as you turned over. I could feel the divan base through the mattress and woke up with the most painful back ache. I felt like I'd been beaten up in my sleep

Easy to find

Bathroom didn't fee private, no hairdryer, because only blinds didn't keep much light out in the morning the bed was very uncomfortable.
