Ideal base for visiting family or short stays.

It was perfect for me as a base while visiting family over Christmas. En Suite shower and toilet, clean, close to the station, easy check-in and check-out. Everything I needed!

The room had a kettle but didn't have a mug (only 2 glasses). Other than that nothing else to say but apparently I have to keep writing otherwise it won't let me submit the feedback.

Value and clean great location

Location is great easy walk to wetherspoons and beach . Had a microwave and good shower facilities both spotlessly clean .

Minor repairs would make it perfect. Road little busy but was nothing that disturbed our sleep.

Base whilst visiting friend for 40th birthday celebration weekend.

I was there 2 nights 3 days I went for shower and controls didn't operate properly. Phoned manager about this and she said she would look at it. Next morning ( booking out morning). Went for shower and controls still not operating properly. Water extremely hot if I had of got straight into shower I would have probably been scalded. Key lock box didn't open, on departure I had to leave door key in room. .. I think by the look of the full builders skip at the front entrance I think they were in the process of alterations and/or refurb . Bedding was frilly not something I would get personally., pillows looked like they were taken from a settee. I booked single room but couple days before booking in I got message upgraded room to bigger room no extra charge. Should have been clue. Also on Google maps clicking for hotel message temporarily closed showed.that was lon my booking in day. I've used guest houses in the past some better some worse never know until you arrive however pricewise it was reasonable.

Nice room and location

Close to the beach and town. Self check in was easy.

The bed was a little uncomfortable and could do with a mattress topper and there was a plumbing issue with the bathroom and a slight smell that needs looking at.

We liked the fact we could let ourselves in and out whenever however we had a lovely time and would stay again 😁

The toilet moves and a fork was broken the bed was two singles put together which made it uncomfortable but not to bad. There wasn't enough space down one side of the bed the door handle cover to the room wasn't put on properly and falls off

Two nights back home to visit friends

Great location. The room was lovely… very comfortable . It had a microwave and a fridge as well as a kettle. Bathroom was modern with a great shower.

I couldn’t get the tv to work … It wasn’t set up for normal freeview

Easy, clean, comfortable and ideal location.

Everything was really easy for accessing the room. The property isnt manned so we had no contact with any staff but this was fine.

We was in room 6 which was right on the front. Because the property is on a main road we did have a lot of traffic noise. This obviously cannot be helped. A blackout blind in that room may be more beneficial also.

We liked the room as it had everything to cater for ourselves the bed was comfy and the shower was great very clean and smelt nice😁

We didn't like the bins outside the front door so full it looked lije a dump until we got inside but if I was to just go on arriving last minute I probably wouldn't have picked there because of how it looked outside with the rubbish

Not to far away from where I needed to be each day.

Parking was an issue being Disabled. The General cleaning of the the shower was way below standard. The panels were dirty as well as all the fitting. Their was a white towel hanging on the radiator with holes in it. You have Phyllis at the bottom of the page my wife dead six years ago or was this meant to be someone else clarity please
