Handy one night stay right by Cleethorpes station.
Location very good right by the train station and beach Room was clean and tidy Shower on first floor was good.
Mattress on double bed in room 1 was very firm and bed frame creaky when you moved. The place needs a bit of TLC, some furniture was chipped and a few things needed fixing here and there. I thought there was a common area but not the case. We just had our room and shared bathrooms.

Subject: Feedback on Recent Stay I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent booking at M Js Guest House for today, August 8, 2025. The room did not meet the advertised expectations. There was no kitchenette as promised, and the windows in the room did not lock, raising significant health and safety concerns, especially since this is being used as temporary emergency housing. Because of this we had to leave without staying. We left the property and placed the keys where instructed, and I would like to mention that we did not use the room or any facilities. Based on this experience, I feel compelled to share this feedback in a review. I am still waiting for a refund despite messaging and speaking to person on phone. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

first impression of the place was awful looks like the carpet was 20 years old and full of history one of the staff was trying to be helpful while the other was in the wrong trade and basically a PAIN The room and bed were clean but the bathroom was odd in that at first glance it was clean, but I ask myself how clean can it be when at the bottom of wash basin there was a label attached at the base from its retailer.

Good for an over night stay
We had a studio room it was great in size and had kettle microwave and fridge. Own shower and toilet. Staff were friendly. Towels was provided. Coffee. Teabags and milk provided. Cutlery cups plates also in room.
On leaving the b n b i took all sheets off the bed only to find the matress my toddler had stayed in had what appeared to be a blood stain on the actual matress. There was a protector on how even i had taken it off due to her spilling water from her bottle.
