Friendly staff, and locals who were all accommodating my dog, this pub is exceptionally pet friendly they do not add an additional charge for pets. The food is a very high standard and reasonably priced . I would 100% recommend this hotel I am planning to return next year. Malvern Hills is a 15 minute drive, beautiful scenery and walk. Great Malvern is worth a visit, cafes pubs independent shops and all dog friendly.

It is a nice building in a good position for visiting Malvern.

The breakfast food was great. Well presented and with very tasty produce.

The room had the noise of some sort of extractor fan (?) until 11.30pm. The bed was very uncomfortable and lumpy. There was no shower gel/body wash in the room. The text message to confirm booking stated we were to ask AT THE BAR if we wanted toiletries, which isn't appropriate when other pub customers are around. Yet a large bottle of antibacterial hand wash was beside the washbasin so why could they not do the same with some bodywash beside the shower/bath? I've never stayed where you have to ask for bodywash! The TV was too big for the room and was a very high pitch sound which we could not adjust. The room lights were very dim and could be a bit brighter. We were offered A drink at breakfast. It would have been nice to help ourselves to fruit juices on entering for breakfast, and then being offered a hot drink.

Exceptional cosy pub

The Swan Inn was exceptional in every way. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean, the food was outstanding, the staff couldn’t do enough for you!! The warm cosy fire topped off a fantastic stay. Would highly recommend.

Pretty village, comfy rooms and good grub.

Characterful and well appointed in a beautiful idyllic village. Me and my dog were both made very welcome. Excellent food in the restaurant- both dinner and breakfast were delicious.

They was very loud music underneath my room with a strong bass, but it didn’t carry on too late so I slept well.

Beautiful pub, great food set in stunning countryside,completely spoiled by overnight stay

We met friends for lunch and the lunch was very good and of decent portions. The staff were great especially Tullulah and Rachel and Jack the restaurant manager, who went out of his way to accommodate us.We we're staying the night and when we ordered our drinks in the restaurant we we're kept waiting 25 minutes. When we asked what had happened Jack very apologetically admitted to forgetting our order, and then gave us our drinks free.

Firstly, there was tea, coffee hot chocolate in the room but just 4 milk barley enough to make one drink. I have never stayed anywhere that doesn't provide shower gel/ Shampoo, here you had to ask for them with the reason they wanted to reduce there carbon footprint. If that's the case they should have dispensers in the bathroom as showergel/ shampoo should be standard. Also they didn't service the room, you have to ask!! Lastly the bed, it was impossible to get to sleep, as it was a wooden bed with a very thin 5" memory foam mattress. The mattress should've been twice the thickness at least for any chance of comfort. Breakfast was a let down, no orange juice, cereals, jam, marmalade or butter for toast. We paid £115 for Bed/Breakfast in what is advertised as the best gastro pub/Inn in Worcestershire, which is completely let down by penning pinching on the hotel side of the business.

HIghly Recommended

A lovely old inn which has been very tastefully extended and now boasts a lovely restaurant. I particularly liked the way they had separate dog friendly and dog free areas in both the bar and the restaurant. Food, especially breakfast was excellent, and the staff all friendly, helpful and efficient. We had a lovely quirky room under the eves ("Gooseberry") which was very comfortable. Recommended. We will be back,

So sorry we didn't get to meet MIlo and Mr Brown (pub cats). The stool was a little low to sit at the desk in the room. A chair would be better.

The pub and restaurant areas, fantastic, knowledgeable staff and superb food. Great ambience and romantic feel.

There was a tiny bit of filler that wasn't rubbed and finished professionally. There was a buzzing noise in the room from an extractor fan in the kitchen but that stopped at 10pm.

So disapointing

Staff were polite and accommodating where possible. Location was ideal for our purposes.

The lighting was terrible. The room was so dark that we had to turn on the TV to add additional lighting (mitigating any environmental claims and credentials) and still the only place that you could read was at the bathroom sink. The toilet had not been cleaned and contained floating matter on arrival. The bed was too big for the space, meaning you needed to climb over the bed to reach the other side. The <50 cm gap between the bottom of the bed and the wardrobe making it almost impossible to squeeze through the gap without banging your knees and legs. The packed take away breakfast requested was of good quality but ruined by the fact that it was placed in a cardboard box, so the sliced meats stuck to the bottom, becoming inedible, such a shame as a little effort in placing a piece of grease proof paper in the bottom could have avoided this.

A long wait

We had a lovely room and the bed was comfy. The location was also very good in a quiet village.

The room was over the kitchen, and whilst that was open, the noise in the room was not pleasant. We eat in the restaurant, Booked for 8 pm it was half an hour latter before our order was taken and a further 40 minutes before our food arrived.

Very friendly staff. Great location with large car park. Plenty of space in the room. Most things provided, including iron and ironing board. Huge breakfast and great selection.

Bed was too soft for me personally. Very large bottle of liquid soap but then nothing provided for the shower which seemed at odds with each other.

When drying hair there is no mirror, need instructions for using the shower. Only one soap container had to keep switching from sink to bath and it was watered down. Bathroom very small.

Lovely place to stay and good food but avoid room above kitchen

Staff were very polite and accommodating. We hadn't booked in advance for dinner and were told they were full that evening, however as we were staying they managed to find us a table at short notice. The food was delicious and we were glad we ate there. Breakfast was also delicious. Overall we would stay again, however we would request a room overlooking the green space instead of above the kitchen.

Our room was above the kitchen. We were warned in advance about the noise of the fan and were told this would be turned off at 10.30pm (this turned out to be 10.45pm), however we did not realise that the greasy smells from the extractor fan would waft the smells up to the bedroom too which was quite unpleasant. Also my husband was woken at around 5.45am by the kitchen staff banging pots and pans around in the kitchen preparing for breakfast.

Set in a beautiful location which was perfect for us as we were visiting the three counties show the pub is very well maintained and has a really nice garden area, the rooms were very clean and comfy also the included breakfast was amazing and all the staff were very helpful
