It was cold in the bar, had to keep my coat on. Had to wait about 20 minutes to be served a drink. Only one member of staff on, on a Saturday !?

Lovely weekend break, in quiet surroundings, the hotel offered everything we needed

The breakfast was fab, lots of choice & the swimming facilities, sauna & pool were great- kids loved it. Due to the time of year we went the Christmas deco was up - looked so pretty.They had kids activities too

Night away with friends

Staff friendly, bed extremely comfortable, loved the heating so you could boost the heat after shower as it was chilly outside. Nice balcony with good views of the golf course.

Took over 20 minutes to check in. Could have done with 2 soft chairs in the room. Ran out of drinks in the bar and no cold ones of a different drink.

Lovely family stay for my so sons graduation from Hartpury

I did like the facilities, we used the health spa and golf course, both beautiful and well kept. Rooms were good, couple of issues but nothing major.

I didn’t like the low water pressure in the shower, especially when trying to wash long hair. Two lamps not working in the room. My main feedback would be to install an electric charger. Electric cars are getting more common but charger are difficult to find and some don’t even work when you get there. This makes travelling very stressful.

Good food, great ambience and very relaxing. This was my fifth stay and will come again with friends

Excellent breakfast and dinner. Room was comfortable. Have stayed previously so know what to expect and itdid not disappoint.

Previous time we were met with a glass of prosecco and when we left we were offered a takeaway coffee. Lovely touches making it stand out from other hotels. However, when I happened to metion this to the reception staff we were given a complimentary drinks voucher for the bar which was much apprecaoted.

The hotel is a lovely building set in beautiful grounds, perfect for a peaceful break. Although we didn’t make use of the excellent golf facilities, I did make the most of the swimming pool, which was always quiet and relaxing.

Staff were lovely and so welcoming. Pool was very clean and warm. Excellent breakfast. It was my husband's birthday and they left a lovely message on the mirror and some small gifts :)

Our room overlooked some sort of courtyard where large heavy things were dragged around a lot up to 10.30pm which was a bit annoying. I don't think the room had been redecorated in about 30 years! Overall many more good things than bad.

A little disappointing, wouldn’t return

The breakfast was lovely and the location worked well for us as we attended wedding close by.

The first room we were given smelt really strongly of Cannabis. We requested to move and although we were given another room we didn’t get offered any help with our luggage or any kind of good will gesture. We ended up having to carry our luggage across the hotel three times that evening. The second room had a better smell but was equally as scruffy. It seems like each of the rooms needs a facelift, it’s very old fashioned.

Overall, very good.

The location was excellent and the breakfast was very good with plenty of choice.

We had the inclusive evening option, but found the menu choice limited. We opted for a room upgrade at reception and we were told it would be £30 for the up grade. However, we found out post visit from our bank statement, that we had been charged £30 per night. This was not communicated to us at the time of upgrade.

Fantastic nights stay for young family

Great setting, close to motorway. Pool was fantastic and had taken time to think about catering for children. Little play space, colouring books provided on arrival and hot chocolate, made us all feel welcome and comfortable

On the whole - disappointing and will not stay at a Hilton again

It was standard but good enough, but be as we arrived half an hour before end of service, some items e.g. bread, tomaoes and mushrooms had not been replenished, so only white bread and only 1 mushroom and couple tomatoes left on first day, similar on second day

Size of room was very small for cost, and to get a bigger room had to pay extra. This was supposed to be special - for a birthday present, very disappointed as I paid more than I would normally as I thought it would be better. Shower gel had run out - had to ask, water was not replenished on second day - had to ask, bed making was not up to standard

Not worth the money should have basic cleanliness and facilities

Staff were pleasant some more than others location was good for us

Room was ridiculously hot we had to request another fan for our 1 year old to get to sleep. Room didn’t have a fridge so we had to request this also for our baby milk. Requested a quiet room but dogs kept us awake from a neighbouring room. I found toenail on the carpet where my baby was playing.

Everything was wonderful, the room very comfortable and clean and the view of the magnificent countryside. We were lucky we had a balcony.

Given a list of 6 that we had to individually ring, which was not useful as they were unable to help with a return journey once we had gone into Tewkesbury! Rooms were very hot due to no air conditioning - we were informed that the rooms did not have air conditioning after we booked.

Beautiful setting. Great staff on reception and Jo in cleaning on 2nd floor. Very comfortable bed and facilities. Easy parking and very pet friendly. Very popular with golfing community.

No A/c in room and only one small inadequate fan in bedroom. Only one broken umbrella in bar patio area in uncomfortably hot weather. Drinks and food very expensive. Pool far too warm and not a great size for proper swimming and membership exorbitant for facilities provided. Good breakfast but expensive.
