Summer Breeze, brilliant and disappointing at the same time

The size of the unit and rooms is brilliant, so much bigger than we anticipated. Plenty of parking for 3 vehicles, one on the driveway and two on the road. The beds were really comfortable. The heating was excellent. The location of the park is excellent for exploring that part of Cornwall.

It was dirty, there was food on the white chopping board, I had to spend a couple of hours degreasing the kitchen and utensils. The skirting boards and dado rails had dust and dirt on them. Under the main bed hadn't been hoovered properly. The shower unit was filthy. The owners need to get better cleaners and pay for a deep clean. It needs a dryer as the weather in Cornwall doesn't always allow you to hang washed clothes on the clothes line. It needs a dishwasher as some people find it hard to really clean pots, pans, cutlery, plates etc. plus it means you are spending so much time doing the washing up rather than enjoying yourselves. The lounge furniture needs replacing, it has seen better days, because the head/neck cushion was broken on one of the arm chairs, I couldn't sit on it as it was pushing my head forward giving me neck ache, the 4 adults kept changing seats as we all struggled to stay comfortable. The garden furniture near the front door was not comfortable, so we couldn't sit outside on the nice days/evenings. The garden bench broke while I was sitting on it, I wasn't badly hurt but I did start to ache on my right side. I emailed booking.com telling them what had happened, no reply. I emailed the owners telling them, no reply. I am really disappointed by this.

Great place to stay would definately stay again.

Nice little touch with milk, cookies and tea on arrival. The size of the property. The location was good. The decoration on the walls were excellent and made it feel homely.

The carpets were very stained which let the whole feel of cleanliness down because it didn't look good. The shower and around window sills had fair bit of mould. There was plastic coverings on things which made it uncomfortable to sit on the chairs in the 30° heat. Shower being in the master bedroom made it tricky would of been good of it was in the main bathroom.

Place is a bit tired and needs a good deep clean. Family bathroom could do with a shower fitting /shower mixer tap. immediate surronding "Garden" needs a good tidy up, weeding etc.

A Fabulous out of season break, in a very pleasant part of Cornwall, without all the summer traffic!

The bungalow was warm and cosy and very inviting when we went in, it was just like in the photos and everything we could possibly need was there. It was easy to get on wifi and the TV was a great size and easy to use. The beds were very comfortable and the heating was very good, easy to control for extra or less heat. We had just one small problem for us the day after we arrived, which after one phonecall to the owner was solved very quickly and efficiently. We didn't see much by way of sunshine during our stay, but no rain affected our various lovely trips out in the area, with so much to see, but to come back to a warm and cosy home was brilliant, many thanks.

There was nothing that needed to be improved, we enjoyed our stay immensely!
