Penquite Holiday Accommodation

The Seaside Suite was immaculately presented, well supplied with crockery, towels and toiletries with a lovely view over the Hayle Estuary to enjoy. It was very pleasant to sit in the well maintained garden in the evening. The property is one street away from the main road in a quiet location and few minutes walk from a bus stop providing access all over West Cornwall and the train station at Lelant. There is a quiet beach a short walk away and access to the SW Coast path. My host, Stephanie, returned from her own holiday during my stay and came to seek me out to check that all was in order which was appreciated.

The only downside is that the walls are a bit thin and connecting doors (locked) are not sealed, so you will hear the people in the other apartments and, if they have not read the instruction about using the cooker extraction hood, the aroma of whatever they are enjoying spreads around the Seaside Apartment. This issue would not prevent me booking the accommodation again and I am confident that if there was an issue with other residents not appreciating how noise/ odour travels, Stephanie was the sort of owner who would take action to resolve such issues if they were raised.

The ladder to the bed was a bit of an inconvenience when you are in your sixties and need to go up and down the ladder a few times in the night to go to the toilet

Stylish, clean accommodation in a beautiful home. Well equipped kitchen, bedrooms lovely and comfortable. Grounds are gorgeous. Stephanie so welcoming. Short walk to the beach and to SW Coast path.

Comfortable bed. Beautiful period building, well maintained with attractive gardens, set in a peaceful quiet neighbourhood, relatively close to a lovely beach. Appartment clean & comfortable. Well appointed kitchen- a home from home. Pleasing aspect. Highly recommended.
