Ocean Cottage

Decorated lovely and was mostly clean. Little bits like tea bags and coffee and milk with lovely biscuits available on arrival. The beds were very comfortable, we all slept better than we do at home. Location was fantastic. It was adorable and had everything that was needed. Beaches and shops nearby were perfect.

In the bathroom there was black mould covering the entire ceiling. I contacted to state it was there and the room was very damp and could I open the bathroom window to ventilate as it wouldnt open to be told that there is some vents, which didn't help. The smell from the bathroom dampness and mould was a lot by day 4. We still could not get the window open. We have a child with asthma so we limited her time in the bathroom where possible. For any future guests I am sure this will be a problem.

The location is perfect. So close to so many beaches and easy to get too. It's set on a fabulous site. Lovely woodland. Great parks and had a pool on site for the kids to play. Small daily cost. Not the one pictured in the advert though. Great site if you are taking a dog . Great woodland walks. Property is a nice size and secure safe area. Local supermarkets are a 10min drive . But there is a small shop on site for emergency bits.

Lack of cleaning supplies for guests to use . Got a sticky by the end of a week. Could have done with a clothes hanger to dry off swim wear and towels. No blind in the bathroom. Not very private. Everyone outside can see everything. The pool in the photos is not the pool on site. The pool on site is great though. So not sure why it's not in the pictures.

It was a lovely site. The property was spotlessly clean and a great base for St Ives.

Lovely setting in the woodland. Nice crisp white sheets and towels.

Not as clean as I’d expect. Surface clean only. Cobwebs and dust around the property in numerous places and a musty smell. It needs a thorough deep clean and a good airing.
