The property is in a great location, just far enough from the town to have that amazing rural feel but close enough to walk into town in the day time. The property itself had everything we needed, from the kitchen to ample towels, charcoal for the BBQ, wood for the fire outside! There were a couple of super sweet touches- coffee, tea and biscuits left for us etc. There are also horses in the field across, which the kids loved to see everyday and got to pet them a few times as we walked down to the beach.
If I had one criticism, it would be that the skylight windows lacked blinds and this did interfere with sleep a little. The day bed mattress was also a little uncomfortable- but the pros of this property definitely outweigh the cons!

Absolutely lovely, everything you need. The photos don’t show how pretty it is
Quite a steep walk back from St Ives 25 minutes. Need to have good mobility.

A lovely, rustic barn conversion that we all (4 of us) loved. Very quiet location, only approx 20 min walk into the centre of St Ives. Although it is down a very narrow, 1 car width lane that is up a little hill so perhaps not for anyone who isn’t a confident driver or comfortable walking any distance. Having said that, they do have their own taxi firm which is very reasonably priced (having used it one rainy evening when we didn’t fancy getting wet on the walk down to get some dinner!). Lovely host Kari even gave us a load of fresh eggs which went down extremely well!!
Very little not to like about this place, but if we were to give one negative, it would have to be that it would be better if the 2 skylights in the bedrooms had blinds of some sort as the bright mornings woke us up earlier than we’d have liked as we both prefer darker rooms

Lovely spacious renovated old barn, is much bigger than the pictures made it look which was great. Approx 30 minute walk into St Ives if you don’t mind muddy/country roads for part of the way, was much easier to walk than to try and find parking in the centre at the time we visited so not a problem for us at all.
If you plan on making full use of the kitchen and other facilities I would recommend bringing your own kitchen roll (none provided), washing up liquid (none provided), kitchen scissors (none provided), sharp knife(s) (only 1 in the kitchen and very blunt), shower gel (none provided), toilet roll (only 2 rolls provided for a group of 6 for 4 nights) and washing tabs if you plan to use the washing machine (as there were none provided).
Only 1 loo and located within a wet room so bring flip flops as the floor stays soaking wet for ages after a shower.
You don’t get chlorine for the hot tub so you can only safely use it once during your stay and have to pay £30 for the pleasure.
Also pack an eye mask as no blinds on the large sky light windows in the bedrooms.
Last but not least, conflicting information between our actual booking details from booking.com and what the host says in person, be wary, and don’t question it or you’ll be met with confrontation. We experienced a rather unnecessary tone and a very defensive and threatening nature. Made for quite an unpleasant last night for us because of the mood we experienced, perhaps we caught her on a bad day but was really not nice, especially on the first day of the New Year. A different host and would recommend this place to everyone :)

It was really well equipped. Lovely conversion of the former stables. Initially seemed quite remote but was in-fact only 15 minutes walk into the centre of St Ives. Really nice, helpful host whose husband, very handily ran a taxi service!
It was all very good but perhaps another toilet would be advisable.

Property was exactly as described and very very comfortable.
We had a slight problem finding it but Kari helped us and showed us her lovely property. It has many wonderfully artistic touches and feel very comfortable. Additional bonus was the hot tub (if you want to use it just make sure you mention it beforehand as per description, which we did and enjoyed it very much).
As described, it is not right in St Ives and a walk down some country lanes. As it was very wet when we visited we used the car so can’t comment on distance.
We loved the location and would definitely come back if visiting St Ives.
Also very dog friendly, which is always a bonus.
Nothing. All very good.

The high standard of the accommodation and the added extras (cornish tea/coffee/biscuits) were fantastic!
Location - we didn’t realise it was rural so a decent bike light or torch is needed on the trip back from the town at night, no footpath/street lamps.
