Great comfortable flat and will stay again!

Comfy beds, HUGE living room, comfy sofas, equipped kitchen, clean, warm, and most importantly FABULOUS views of Ayr - what more can you ask for? Great views from the dining table that was just big enough to fit our board games. The ensuite shower is small but decent. The plug in the bath was not plugging so the bath was not used in the end - 4 of us had to share the ensuite which was fine if you arrange properly. We had 2 cars with us but only 1 private parking space. The owner was quick to respond to messages and helped us sort out a simple solution for free parking of the 2nd car. NOTE for future bookers that you have to climb up 2/3 flights of stairs! We had young people who could ferry luggages and heavy items up and down the stairs for the elderly so it worked out okay. Location wise - the flat is bang on in the centre and only a short walk to the promenade and beach. We will book again if we ever visit Ayr in a group :)

Only a minor issue : the plugs in the sink doesn't plug properly so we were struggling to wash dishes. A solution is to provide a small washing up bowl for future tenants. Future tenants would also benefit from a small kitchen towel for drying hands too.

It is very close to the beach, it is in an ideal location for viewing the air show, luxurious.

The quality of the decor and furnishings is exceptional. Far better than we expected. The bath with it's built in jets was a real bonus.

Walking up the stairs, but they will never have an elevator, so not able to resolve that issue.

Lovely dog-friendly spacious flat in fantastic beach location

Wow, Lisbeth's apartment is absolutely lovely! Much bigger than I was expecting, very spacious. Clean, had everything we needed, appreciated the en-suite bathroom with lovely hot shower! Fantastic views (sit in the leather recliner and look out the window at the green and sea beyond), right next to the beach, comfy beds and sofas, parking space out back, plenty of Yorkshire tea bags! Lisbeth's communication was top notch. Duke the labrador loved the flat too! He was right at home straightaway. Genuinely one of the nicest apartments I've stayed in - great location, big spacious flat, safe, comfortable. Thank you!

It was fine for us, but I suppose it's worth noting (as the description states) that the apartment is up 2 flights of stairs, so I suppose anyone with mobility issues would struggle. It didn't bother us though, and everything about the apartment was fantastic.

Great Location and fantastic views, I would sit at window and watch the bowls across the road.

The views were fantastic, but the stairs were too much, needed a spruce up, and not enough towels.

No good for elderly, disabled or young families.

The apartment is cosy and large. Lovely decor and view.

No hot water for the duration of our stay. Very upsetting when you have a baby who requires 2 ointment baths a day for skin conditions. No disabled access, no note or warnings. Over 50 steep stairs. No good for someone recovering from a stroke who also had a baby to carry. Couple who arrived below us same day said they were leaving as their apartment was disgusting. Same host. The trip went from a peaceful few days away to the past stressful few days. Very disappointed

Very spacious and furnished very well, the views were excellent, and location perfect for our short stay. Host was very helpful.

Squeaky floors beds and door handles, lack of maintenance, unfortunately we were subjected to storms throughout the night and as a loft the roof tiles were loose and rattling. Got no sleep. Insufficient heat in bedrooms
