Short stay at Swallows Barn

The accommodation was very well presented.It was warm and cosy with a comfortable bed,an excellent shower and a log burner. Tea, Coffee and sugar were provided.Thank you. Being winter we didn't use the outdoor BBQ area but during the summer, it would be a great place to sit with a glass of wine after a day of hiking.in the surrounding countryside.

Nothing, everything was fine.We could have done with an iron and ironing board as my husband needed to iron a shirt .( We were attending a funeral) But I'm sure we could have borrowed one from the owners if we had thought to ask..

Stayed over Christmas '21, weather was cold but the cottage (barn) was lovely and warm, despite having tiled floors they didn't feel cold. The facilities were excellent. There was a lovely view from the dining room. There was a huge parking space right outside the barn. The location was great for a number of walks.

Very minor but I'd have liked the option to have a stand-up shower. A shower curtain and a hook for the shower head would have been a great addition.

Wonderful stay at Swallow Barn, everything you could ask for and amazing surroundings for that relaxing break. Great communication from the hosts nothing any bother. Would love to stay again.
