La Vista 44, Luxury PH in Pedregal Overlooking Lands End and Downtown!

Make sure you know where you are going, our transport driver took us to two other places before finding the right one despite the fact I had the address written down for him. Security is tight, 2 gates to pass through and limited English speaking guards. Leaving the property must be done through the main gate, despite the fact there are stairs at the edge of building four for owner's use only, which is quite inconvenient. It's not an easy walk on a cobblestone walk uphill. IF you had a vehicle, it would not be nearly as bad although our taxi driver was unsuccessful climbing the hill to get us home from Walmart twice, he made it on the third try. Good thing there is no snow in Mexico. The unit itself is huge, it is dated but certainly comfortable. The was cold when we arrived and was not fixed until day 3, the pump was not functional at all (it needed a new pump) but at least it was warm and comfortable in the evenings when it cooled off. Some nights there were fireworks right on the other side of the hill which were awesome from the jacuzzi. The location itself if a short walk to the marina and there are plenty of places to eat along the way. Walmart is about a $25 USD cab ride away, groceries aren't cheap but they aren't cheap anywhere. Expect to pay about the same prices as home for groceries and meals. Overall a positive experience.

Property overlooks the marina and is set just above town. Villa is 3B/3B with plenty of room and and nice amenities. Building has really good restaurant, pool, and workout facilities. Short walk into town to eat, shop and explore Cabo. Great value for what you get.
