Friendly and very helpful staff, ready to support when needed, and that's basically it. Oh, and the pool was clean. Location ok to travel around - close to Pisa, Luka.

In booking there are many photos with nice views from terrace, but at the end of the day you get the apartment with small backyard overlooking BUSHES. In the location there are several houses with apartments, located in different angles, and only two (or maybe three) of all the apts have at least some view over pool/mountains. When we got our room, i asked if it's possible to get the empty room with a view over mountains/pool and at least some daylight, but i was told that "we are fully booked". During our stay, none was living there! Size of the apartment is ok, but the walls are so thin that you here your neighbors, even those living not on the next apartment. There are no walls that split both bedrooms - instead they have built in wardrobe performing kind a wall/wardrobe function. Kid was basically sleeping in the wardrobe and i could see him from my room when looking in the shelf. As to equipment, kitchen was equipped with some basic things. Hairdryer i asked from reception. Hot water came from device run by gas and if all of us wanted to get a shower, it wasn't possible because that device switched off. One of staff members came and showed how to "restart" the device, but we had to do it every single day, which was annoying. You have two sunbeds that you can use ONLY in your "backyard" which is most of the times in shadow :D and even they have plenty of grass around the territory - it was not allowed to take the sunbed there. Pool has some rules of max 15 people; when it's reached they don't let you in the pool territory. Don't know how it works as we tried to stay most of the time somewhere away. During the early morning and late evening hours, there were no people around the pool at all. Overall, room needs some refurbishments, and so the furniture. Towel hangers in WC were falling off all the time. Completely uncomfortable beds - so hard mattresses that the next day you feel broken.

- Nice and clean swimming pool - Beautifully located near Lucca - Outside area was nice with enough privacy - Facilities were good (parking, washing machine) - All the windows had mosquito protection - Very close to the autostrade, easy to reach various sightings in the area

- The beds were too hard for our liking - The cooking hobs were a bit difficult to ignite with the ignition button
