The most perfect combination of convenience, comfort and charm for visitors to this magnificent town

Beautoful traditional apartment in an unbeatable location - a secluded and peaceful courtyard tucked away off the main shopping street in the very heart of this gorgeous and buzzing town.

No car parking on site, not really their fault as central Lucca is largely pedestrian- and bike-focused (which I love), we parked just outside city walls, 7 minutes walk away.

beautiful, comfortable, spacious and light apartment with high ceilings and antique furniture. Friendly attentive host. perfect location in the center of the old town. Our dog was welcome.

Beautiful centrally located apartment

A beautiful huge apartment right in the thick of it, yet quiet and peaceful! Excellent cot and high hair provided for our baby! Host was great to communicate with. The apartment is tastefully decorated, has everything you could want and was a comfortable and luxurious base for exploring Lucca! Would highly recommend!

Perfect location to enjoy Lucca

Fantastic apartment in the centre, close to everything you need. Our wonderful host met us on arrival and explained how everything worked. we enjoyed 4 nights here as a group of 3 and would definitely stay again. My only comment is it would have be handy to have another set of keys for if we wanted to go out individually other than that it was perfect.

We loved this apartment! Excellent location, large rooms, very clean & comfortable - felt like home. The apartment is very traditional & charming in style including furniture. I particularly loved the morning winter sun streaming through the bedroom French windows / doors. A selection of percolators were available as was coffee & all condiments which is always handy. Located in the heart of the main shopping, everything was located within easy reach. We were met by our host Rosella who provided us with excellent information about all things food. Rosella was available to answer all our questions and more 🙏. We couldn’t have asked for a better host!!

We travelled in February which was cold. The heating could have been warmer. Perhaps some extra heating units……

Lovely central location in the beautiful walled city

Location was excellent and being met by the host was a nice and welcoming touch.

Although the rooms to the flat were located to the back there was still some noise from people/vehicles and glass disposal. The pillows were not comfortable and only 4 for the whole flat.

we were met on site we were shown the appartment and informed of how to access waste bins local points of interest and advised on where to park our car, when we left we simpy left keys on the table closed the door and went on our merry way.

The only dissapointment for us was no on site parking which was our fault for not checking in advance.

Great appartment on the main city center street but very quiet. It was close to everywhere and we couldn't inagine better location. The appartment has 2 rooms, bathroom, kitchen and living room with small balcony facing a fantastic, calm square with beautiful buildings. We were working from there so the WiFi was good and we didn't have any problems.

A lovely, homely apartment in the heart of Lucca

The apartment is tucked away in a prime location behind the main shopping street, just a few minutes away from the piazza dell'Anfiteatro. Everything is within walking distance, including the train station, outside the city walls. We loved how spacious the apartment was, with its big bedrooms and separate living room, and loved the homely feel of the place. There's a very well equipped kitchen too, with dishwasher and washing machine. The kids were very pleased with the WiFi connection! We were able to keep our bags in the apartment after check out time also which was a big help. We had a really lovely and relaxed stay here.

It could be difficult returning at night as the light was not working at the top of the short flight of steps from the street to the front door, so you had to use a torch. The outside light was fixed on our last night, but the light in the hallway to the inside door could do with fixing too.

The apartment is specious and airy. the two bedrooms and living room have French (Italian) doors that open onto a small square. I have stayed in Lucca many times and this is probably the quietest if not the largest. The kitchen is old fashion in appearance, but sports a microwave and really fast oven. The beds are comfortable. The shower is comfortably large the hot water fast and stays at desired level.

I live in an old house so I know the limitations that imposes. If It could be done, the kitchen would be better with more light. we brought in a lamp and that handled it. The toilet is amazingly close to the wall but that’s the charm. If you are not sure on your feet, you should know there are 17 steps up to the entrance and within the property there are two levels, a step of some three inches.

It was very cold, in the night - 8 degrees - the building is a solid stone building - and the owner did not want to start the heat (and it was a central heating) invoking a supposed law which doesn't allow heat after 15th of April. He sent me a link but that was an article with recommendations what to do to pay less for heating. I don't think that the owner and his family have slept without any heat those days with 8 degrees in the nights. Was very disappointing because the apartment is very nice, beautiful furnished, clean, well equipped, with a very good position in the historical center of Lucca. the only discomfort was the cold in the house. The apartment requires small adjustments of two doors (entrance and bathroom) also.

This was a lovely and spacious apartment for the 2 of us. We were very comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed for the small amount of cooking we did (there are amazing places to eat and drink very close by!).

We have been to Lucca several times, so we knew what to expect from a busy city. We loved listening to the bells of the nearby tower (daytime only) and it was quieter than we expected given that the apartment is very near the main pedestrian and shopping street. The windows are at the back, and look onto a beautiful and quiet piazza with offices used in daytime only.

We had three very nice days at Lucca, where we felt very well at this apartment.

Very good location, everything is available on foot. Although the apartment is located at the most important shopping road in the center, it is quiet because the sleeping rooms are in the back of the house. But the walls to the neighbour-flat are rather light.

We arrived in the morning by nightjet-train. Therefore we asked the host, whether it could be possible to take our luggage in befor we could check in. He did not make it possible, although after having arrived we saw that there was a vestibule in front of the entrance, where we could leave our luggage at the end of our stay befor departing by nightjet-train again. Two other points: The oven did not work. And the double-bed ist extremely swaying, so that is impossible not to disurb each other while sleeping.

Beautiful apartment in an original medieval building, located directly in the centre of the old town of Lucca. Friendly and attentive hosts. All kitchen, household and baby equipment available. For parking we recommend Porta S. Maria just outside the wall.

Beautiful home

I felt at home in this beautiful and spacious apartment! The wooden ceilings, the romantic bedroom interior .. it was just like the pictures, but better! The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking and the apartment is close to nice local shops and some supermarkets. It was close to everything actually!

I liked everything. Maybe the parking was a small walk, but it was free and you don’t need the car in Lucca.

Experience a real Tuscany house

Lovely traditional building, with high ceilings and window shutters. The shower was larger than we've had before in Italy. Lots of nice features. Comfortable beds and settee. Very clean. On the 'main drag': very central for bars, shops and restaurants.

The lack of an outdoor seating area. The fact that the oven wasn't turned on (no, we couldn't find how to turn it on, either). The need to take the rubbish out (I'm on my holiday, after all). The usual lack of an electric point near a mirror!

Die Klimaanlage im Vorraum kühlt sehr gut das Wohnzimmer erreicht im Hochsommer aber bei offenen Zimmertüren kaum die Schlafzimmer.
