Location perfect for the trains to Pisa, Florence etc for day trips. Walk to Lucca walled city was easy. Large supermarket in town area outside walls within walking distance from the accommodation.

Wonderful Apartment to Visit Lucca and area

Loved the cozy family feeling staying in this lovely apartment (not a typical “IKEA” place). The apartment is lovely, very comfortable and spacious. Owners are lovely people. Very helpful. We appreciated their kindness very much. The amenities here are super - large & well-appointed kitchen, second WC, balcony, washing machine, AC, WIFI. We wanted for nothing here. Location is easy enough walking from the train station, even with bags. Easy and not far to get to Lucca city centre. Also easy to take day trips by train (Viareggio, Pisa, etc). We found a fantastic pizza place very near to the apartment.

We liked everything! Only a tip: grocery is quite far but there are some also in Lucca city centre (plan ahead)

Cosy apartment for a comfortable stay

The property has a clean and cosy feel. The two bedrooms are a good size and the beds are comfortable. There is some air conditioning between the bedroom and lounge areas that helps to keep the apartment cool and there is also a front facing balcony to sit and have a coffee or glass of wine and watch the sun rise or set! The handover of keys was easy as the hosts were waiting to welcome us on arrival and show us around the apartment. We were visiting during the Lucca Music Festival so found it more comfortable to walk the 15 minutes to the historic centre than to try to park there. The area within the city walls is fascinating and has many attractions, bars and restaurants. It is also worth the short drive to the Atelier Damiano Carrara to take a coffee and taste and admire the magnificent cakes created on this master chef's premises. Damiano himself was present when we went and proved to be a very humble and welcoming person to all those who visited his establishment.

Many of the streets around the apartment are one-way and our GPS found it difficult to find without wanting to send us down the wrong way. The parking is on street so finding a space can be a little difficult, but not impossible. The apartment is on the top third floor so there are some stairs to negotiate if you have heavier luggage.

Very spacious, had everything we needed, 5 min walking distance to train station which was good for exploring as we didn't have a car. Fully equipped for self-catering. Good communication with host. Looked like the photos as advertised. Affordable.

Great hosts, warm and comfortable apartment, great stay.

The hosts Roberta and Giuseppe are terrific, very friendly, nice warm reception, couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome. The apartment is a ten minute walk from the Lucca train station if you follow Giuseppe’s advice. The apartment was warm and comfortable with the basics to keep you going until you can get to the supermarket. It felt like a home away from home.

probably the only thing we didn’t like was carrying three heavy cases up the stairs, but I would 100% stay there again.

The apartment was very clean, spacious and had a wonderful view from the balcony. It was the perfect place to relax and wind down after a busy day. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this apartment if you are looking to stay in the area.

On outskirts of the beautiful town of Lucca and close to rail station. Apartment was spacious and generally well equipped.

The main toilet flush was broken and we had to be given special instructions how to use it. Why was it not fixed? as they even told us previous guests had same problem. It was hot while we were there and in the listing it stated there was a fan but we didn't find it. Instructions for departure told us to leave keys in apartment and close door. We then found ourselves locked in the hallway as front door to building was now locked and required key for exit! Very stressful when on tight travel schedule.

Great flat

Very kind owners, patient too. We were late like 4 hours and they waited for us. The flat was lovely. Well equipped and spacious. The balcony was a bonus.

The flat is right next to a railway which alone wouldn't have been a problem, but there were roadworks caried out during our stay and they started early in the morning before 7:00 a.m. :(

Great location, not far from the walls, but next to the train station, which was important for us. Home was clean, comfortable and had everything you could need for a great stay (washing machine, coffee, some extras in the cupboard etc...) The host, Guiseppe, was awesome. He was flexible with our checkout time, and any questions we had he was quick to help with. I would definitely recommend this home.

This not a dislike, but you do have to go up two easy flights of stairs. Just want to worn off people who can’t do that. Ill bet the owners would help carry your bags up if you needed help. They are the nicest couple.

Второй раз останавливаемся в квартире Джузеппе. Это те самые уютные апартаменты, в которых чувствуешь себя как дома. Здесь все продумано до мелочей, удобные матрасы, все кухонные принадлежности, специи на своих местах, кофе, чай. Джузеппе всегда на связи, готов помочь, подсказать, посоветовать. Расположение идеальное. Рядом ж/д вокзал, но абсолютно не слышно проезжающих мимо поездов. Мы обязательно остановимся в этой квартире в следующем году!

Fantasztikus helyen volt a szállás, közel az óvároshoz. A szállásadók nagyon kedvesek voltak, mindenben segítettek. A lakás nagyon tiszta volt. Köszönjük a vendéglátóhelyek ajánlását. Egy gyönyörű teraszon élvezhettük az estéket.

Nette kleine Italienische Wohnung, liebevoll eingerichtet. Es war alles vorhanden.

Um in die Stadt zu kommen musste man durch den Bahnhof, das ist für Frauen abends und im Dunklen echt nicht toll. Da hängt alles ab und es richt sehr extrem nach Gras.

Halte appréciée pour une visite de Lucca.

L'accueil très arrangeant (Nous étions arrivés en avance sur l'horaire prévu). Le conseil donné par nos hôtes pour résoudre un problème apparu sur notre voiture. La situation géographique qui permet d'accéder à pied au cœur historique de Lucca. Les lits sont équipés de bons oreillers.

Le caractère désuet de l'appartement mériterait une modernisation. Draps un peu trop synthétiques à nos gouts..
