Lovely week away in beautiful city . Easy because of location. Basic accommodation but well done. Small kitchen and bath

Location was great. Information about local shop and bakery great. So many towels and bedding professionally laundered and provided.

The drains were a bit smelly when we arrived but seemed to be the case in the city in several places. As past reviews limited equipment in kitchen but very doable even for a weeks stay you just adapt!

In summary, an excellent apartment in a great location in a beautiful town

Great location. Apartment was clean and well equipped. Communications with Elisa were very good, an excellent host. Recommend the restaurant that sits outside/under the apartment. You cannot hear it in the apartment.

Almost perfect

The apartment is in a wonderful location, right in the center of the walled city, close to everything but tucked away from foot traffic. Tastefully decorated with a full kitchen it's a perfect spot to stay for an extended period of time. The a/c is a great asset and the apartment is perfect for up to 4 people

Though the apartment is wonderful a few minor adjustments could make it perfect. If you plan to cook, you will need to stock the whole kitchen. Yes, it has a few pots and pans but you only have salt and sugar stocked PLENTY of dishwasher detergent. No hand towels for the kitchen, or spare toilet paper, no washer detergent but there is a washer. Simple things like a bottle of water in the fridge, though the water in Lucca is 100% safe to drink, could make this place amazing. And yes the lock box for the keys is very high.. I'm 5'5 and was on my tippy toes trying to access it lol

Fantastic apartment!

San Carlo is a lovely antique apartment characteristic of the area. The location is superb, in the heart of the center yet on a quiet dead end street. Elisa is a very kind and responsive host.

Check-in would be easier for people who aren't tall if the lockbox were lower. The main bedroom door and bathroom door would benefit from adjustment so they would close easily.

Plenty of space in the bedroom living & kitchen areas. It was central to all of the town areas to visit.comfortable place to stay.

Lovely apartment in an old building of Lucca. Centrally placed and comfortable to stay in.

We loved the location and the historic building. Comfortable inside and enjoyed having a lounge/dining/kitchen. Bed was comfortable and it is a lovely little apartment.

The facilities were a little poor. No tea towels/no oven gloves. Lack of trays/dishes for oven so tricky to self cater and put a meal together. Couldn’t get coffee maker to work or microwave but oven ok. There was a lot of noise from upstairs neighbour which interfered with our sleep at night.

A lovely stay in Lucca

The location was fantastic, within the heart of Lucca, yet very quiet. The apartment was nicely appointed, clean and very comfortable. Elisa was easy to communicate with and the entry instructions were clear. We had a wonderful stay in Lucca!

It would be nice to have A/C in the second bedroom as it was very hot when we stayed and the A/C from the lounge struggled to make it to the second bedroom.

Beautiful location

Wonderful apartment. The location is fabulous, inside a beautiful courtyard, so no street noise (as I have experienced staying in other areas of Lucca). Just the murmur of the beautiful restaurant in the courtyard. You're a hop, skip and a jump from the main squares. The apartment was very well appointed and the beds super-comfortable. The host was incredibly helpful with restaurant recommendations and bookings.

I highly recommend this property and I would return.

Very good stay; comfortable and stylish. we loved the location and decor. The one small bathroom was modern and warm.

As we traveled light we could have done with a few essentials such as kitchen roll, shampoo and conditioner (I brought some), good coffee.

Georgous apartment in a beautiful location.

The most beautifully decorated apartment and wonderfully cozy. Kitchen was well equipped and coffee was available which was greatly appreciated. Air conditioning worked great and we wish we could have stayed longer.

There was a problem with the shower leaking on the floor but there was a mop handy.

Great base from which to explore Lucca.

Brilliant location in the heart of the old town and only a 15 min walk from the station. The apartment was comfortable, pretty and had everything we needed for our stay. Only communicated with Elisa via text but very pleasant and helpful.

Skvělé ubytování v centru Luccy - doporučujeme

Ubytování je na dobrém místě v centru, všude je blízko, dostali jsme podrobné informace a také další informace ohledně poznávání Luccy, bylo skvělé, že s námi mohl být náš pes. Komunikace s hostitelkou byla skvělá, poradila nám i kde parkovat zdarma.

Bohužel se nedá dojet s autem až k ubytování a zavazadla musíte donést cca 10 až 15 minut ( což není chyby hostitelky ) dále počítejte s schody do 1 patra ( ale to také nevadilo) , určitě bych doplnil nějaké drobné věci do kuchyně - byla nefunkční mikrovlná trouba a chybí některé věci na vaření .
