In the middle of a building site.

We couldn't get to the house because of roadworks.the village is cut off by bulldozers.we parked the car further out and walked to the house carrying our bags over mounds of rubble.the view from the back garden was lovely but spoilt by builders noise.the rooms are large.

Little communication from owner regarding the dreadful situation.dust and dirt everywhere.woken each morning at 6.30 am.inside the house things need repairing or replacing especially shower door and towels which you pay extra for.the worst holiday we have had abroad.we were promised compensation but never received it after a number of emails.

One of our worst experiences

The ‘Voerstreek’ is beautiful

If we knew things beforehand, we wouldn’t book this property at all. Local government just started road/water work around the house when we arrived. The host didn’t tell us about this. According to the signs this takes until summer 2023. The silent atmosphere, the reason why we chose this house, wasn’t there. They start very early, the work people banged the door at 7.30 if we could move our car so they could open the road. The host didn’t send us explanations on how to enter the house, so we had to call when finding out there is nobody and we needed a code for the keybox. During our stay he didn’t reply on our messages until we went home again. And the reply was not helpful, he doesn’t care about the guests experience in his house. On his pictures he shows there is a wood fire and a wood chip stove. Both don’t work, as there is no wood and the remote control of the wood chip stove was not there. The owner didn’t put any effort to help us out with this when we called him. The tv had only 2 or 3 channels. There are dirty papers lying in a corner with unfriendly ugly written messages you will have cold water in the morning, after taking a bath in the evening. (Why not a friendly welcome with explanations in laminated paper?) The towels are hard and full of stains. The beds are very uncomfortable, the house is not cozy. We hardly slept. There are large windows forest side which is nice. But the other house side as well which looks out on the residential area. Everybody can see you walking in your pyjama’s. Also the road workers when they bumped on the door early morning. They use bad chemicals in their garden, which we didn’t feel safe to play for our small two year old. The garden is not fenced, there was a sharp broken toy inside the wooden kids house. Inside the house a broken glass ball was left in a small kids box. Many open electricity holes in the rooms are unfinished and open. It doesn’t look nice but it’s also very unsafe for children.

super overwegen om terug te komen .

Beste Het huisje was mooi alles was in orde . Wat zeer leuk om vast te stellen dat de keuken toebehoren meer dan voldoende waren en als hobby kok was dit zeer leuk toppie .

De openhaard werkte niet echt goed dus hebben we deze geprobeerd maar toch niet meer gebruikt . Misschien moest de sint langs deze weg nog langs komen .

Het uitzicht op de weide. De grootte van t huis. Heerlijk ruim. Fijne keuken. (De heg bij de zitplaats zou ons inziens wel een beetje meer gesnoeid mogen worden voor een nog beter uitzicht. )

Dat er boven geen airco was of een losse ventilator in iedere slaapkamer

Fijn huis om in te verblijven

Ruim en alles aanwezig. Gastheer zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam aan de telefoon. Mooi uitzicht.

Aandachtspunten (maar niet zwaarwegend): Geen raambekleding boven voordeur; geen privacy op de overloop door zichtbaarheid vanaf de straat. Douchekop bleef niet vastzitten. Handleiding tv ontbrak.

Ruim huis, rustig gelegen, mooi wandelgebied!

Het is een heel ruim, licht en compleet huis, rustig gelegen. Leuke koeien in de weide naast het huis die s’avonds gezellig een kijkje kwamen nemen. Goede douche. Een prima plek om vandaan te wandelen. Heerlijke chaise longue om in te lezen. Fijn huis, aardige buren.

Als ik dan toch iets moet noemen: andere buitenmeubelen waar je comfortabeler op kan zitten. Andere nachtkastjes bij het 2-persoonsbed en haakjes in keuken/badkamer/toilet om een handdoek op te hangen. Maar dat valt in het niet bij het geheel.

Basic verblijf in toffe omgeving aan goede prijs

Ruim huis, prachtige omgeving om te wandelen en fietsen, leuk dorp met meerdere eetgelegenheden, in huis alles aanwezig.

Geen verwarming op slaapkamers, kuisploeg kon beter werk leveren, pannen te vervangen, 3e bed niet echt geschikt voor een tiener.

Ruim vakantiehuis in mooie omgeving

Het huis is erg ruim, ligt aan de rand van een dorp op loopafstand van Teuven met verschillende prima restaurants. De kachel maakte het huis extra aangenaam, zitgedeelte was gezellig. De badkamer was erg ruim. In de buurt kun je goed e-bikes huren en de streek verkennen.

Het huis kan qua inrichting, mn de eetstoelen en keuken wel een update gebruiken. Ook is het nogal rommelig in de kast in het zitgedeelte. Er ontbreekt informatie over de streek maar ook over de werking van verschillende apparaten zoals de tv.Deze staat ook niet op een handige plek en ook de inrichting hiervan laat te wensen over. Het toiletpapier moet in een prullenbak worden gegooid, let hier dus goed op. Het uitzicht vanuit de tuin is beperkt door de te hoge hagen, dat is erg jammer.

Zeer goed, mooi huis en schitterend uitzicht en landschap. Alles voorzien en praktische keuken.

Het uitzicht van alle kanten de houtkachel, de ruimte, de keuken, al het licht binnen, de ligstoel. Kortom, een heerlijk huis. Alles aanwezig. De gastvrijheid van Gaston. Hij kocht o.a een nieuwe koekenpan voor ons en zette de grote diepvries aan. Dankjewel daarvoor.🔆

Vanwege een handicap is de hoge trap wat zwaar voor me. Verder zou ik een stoeltje of krukje op de badkamer en de slaapkamer zetten. Daar er veel grote ramen zijn, is er inkijk vanuit de straat en het huis van de buren. Ik heb last van de wasverzachter in het wasgoed, het slaat op de luchtwegen en huid. Dat zou ik vanwege milieu en gezondheidsredenen weglaten.
