The place is a hidden gem. It's a lovely self contained cottage. There is a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable sofas and beds. Super clean bathroom. Plenty of games available for children and adults. The neighbourhood is quiet and there is a designated car space. Host is super friendly and lovely.

Ok for one night but wouldn’t return.

The location was lovely. The size of the property was good. The price was very good. It had everything we needed, although parts were tired.

Some parts of the property are looking a little bit tired. The photo of the front of the property needs to be updated as it no longer looks as new as this. They also don’t have the go-kart that is pictured anymore. The shower was not very clean and needs attention. Under the beds had not been cleaned, there was an old dirty pair of underwear underneath one of them. The property is in the owners back garden and extremely close to their property.

Lovely short stay

Welcoming, perfect size, happy for the dogs to be with us.

Stairs where narrow and if you where tall you had to go down backwards or you would hit your head. No grass garden area for the dogs to use, we had to take them out everytime just for a wee.

Very comfortable beds and great location for kids - close to a lovely wood with an activity trail.

No complaints - it is fairly basic but had everything we needed for a two night stay.

Rustgevend verblijf na een drukke zomer

Vriendelijke ontvangst, gelegen in een rustige buurt. Parkeren bij het huisje. Overdekt terras achter het huisje waar het nog heerlijk vertoeven was na een dag wandelen. Een hele goed uitvalsbasis om te wandelen, wandelwegen zelfs te voet bereikbaar. De winkels waren dicht in de buurt.

Bosrijk huisje met vriendelijke eigenaar

De omgeving was een grote verrassing voor ons. Vlak bij een groot bos met kinderspeelgedeelte. Eind van de straat was een heerlijke ijssalon. Heerlijke lange wandeling kunnen maken met kinderen en hond. Keuken was prachtig met veel pannen etc.

Let op: straat is eenrichtingsverkeer maar Google maps/tomtom geeft dit niet aan.

Algemeen knus en gezellig, ideaal voor een gezin met twee kinderen. Leuk dat we ook buiten konden zitten. Vriendelijke gastvrouw.

Ideaal gelegen! Verwacht geen grootse luxe maar zeker ok voor 1 nacht.

De locatie is ideaal. Bakker en frituur vlakbij. En ideaal om steden als Genk , Maasmechelen enz te bezoeken. Prijs is zeker correct! In het huisje was alles aanwezig en voorzien. En host was zeer vriendelijk! Voor herhaling vatbaar.

Heerlijk weekendje weg!

Leuk huisje dicht in de buurt van prachtige wandelgebieden. Het huisje is ruim genoeg, de keuken is voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt en de waterdruk in de douche is goed. En de gastvrouw is vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Op zich was alles prima, wellicht in de toekomst iets modernere en comfortabelere meubels.

Comfortabel en leuk huisje voor prettig verblijf in een rustige omgeving

Makkelijk zelf in en uitchecken. Attente host. Erg leuk compact huisje achter het woonhuis. Alles in keuken aanwezig, ook oven. Achter het huisje nog een extra ruime en overkapte zitplek. Aan het einde van de straat is een bospad om de honden uit te laten.

Paar kleine dingen: Bovenaan de trap is het qua hoogte erg krap tot het dak als je naar beneden loopt. Een kleine dakkapel zou dat oplossen. 3+ 2 enkele bedden, wel comfortabel. Douchedeur krap. Paar kleine zaken met achterstallig onderhoud

De locatie was zeer mooi en rustig gelegen. Het huisje had alles wat we nodig hadden en was heel netjes. De winkels waren vlot bereikbaar en in de buurt.

Prima verblijf, gastvrije eigenaren, imrichting gedateerd en het kan iets schoner

Prima voor een nachtje: C-Mine, een Springwedstrijd aan de overzijde (Sentower Park) en een shopping dagje in Maasmechelen op zondag. Heel vriendelijke eigenaren en een leuk, tot chalet verbouwde garage met een veranda. Alles aanwezig in de keuken en badkamer, al zou je de schoonmaakmiddelen die zo goed als leeg zijn cq niet meer werken beter kunnen vervangen of weghalen. Behoorlijk verouderd meubilair maar voor deze prijs is dat oké. Een nieuwe boiler/cv ketel zorgde ervoor dat we rustig en ongehinderd konden slapen, erg fijn! Veel badhanddoeken en keukendoeken tot onze beschikking, top! Veel van de materialen in de keuken zijn wel echt aan vervanging toe (een vies, oud snijplankje en dito bestek bijvoorbeeld). Liever iets minder dan niet schoon. Schoonmaak is oké maar een schone accommodatie gaat verder dan de vloer…er hingen op diverse plekken spinnenwebben te dansen aan muren en de radiator in de badkamer durfden we niet eens aan te raken van de opgehoopte stof en ingedroogde viezigheid. Met 30 euro aan schoonmaakkosten zou dit toch eenvoudig inbegrepen zijn. De douche was erg fijn en netjes. Prima bedden, netjes voor ons opgemaakt. De kussens zijn wel echt aan vervanging toe; we hebben de dubbele kussens in de hoezen (?) verwijderd maar dan nog was elk kussen een klont. We sliepen uiteindelijk beter zonder kussen. Als vriendelijke tip zou ik de eigenaren meegeven zelf een nachtje in de accommodatie te verblijven, dan zie en ervaar je het zelf. Want ze doen 200% hun best.
