The resort is beautiful and surrounded by greenery, making it a peaceful place away from the city's noise. It offers great activities and is well equipped for a short holiday. The reception staff were very friendly, helpful, and professional throughout our stay.
The biggest downside was the lack of air conditioning, especially during the unusually hot weather at the end of June this year. The living room curtains did not provide enough privacy, as people could easily see inside through the large windows. The bed had an old spring mattress that was uncomfortable and affected my sleep quality. There was no telephone in the apartment to contact reception. Also, there was no gym at the resort, even though a fitness facility was listed on the Booking.com page, which was misleading and disappointing.

A very well kitted-out, spacious apartment with a lovely balcony, comfy beds and a good size bathroom. Everything you need. There was also a little shop with a bakery on the site, as well as a restaurant/bar, bike hire and parking.
Our apartment faced onto the main square of the holiday village. Despite the welcome pack asking guests to keep noise down between 22.00 and 07.00, it was very noisy at night and from quite early in the morning which made it difficult to sleep. Although the car park is very large, it also gets quite full, so it was often difficult to find a parking space. To be fair, we were there over a bank holiday weekend/start of half-term/school holidays in the Netherlands and other countries, which might explain why it was so busy. The holiday village is quite a way out of Maastricht, so you do need a car to get there.

This is the first time we stayed at a resort type in Europe. So, it's a bit of change and Dormio is so convenient located. it's only 10+ min to get into the city.

The apartment itself was fine, clean, quite spacious, kitchen had all the basic needs. The "resort" has nice architecture.
Poor value for money, there is nothing in the 'resort' beside a really small swimming pool. No bilkiard, darts, kids'playroom, any social space
