Coziness and quietness in the midst of nature

It’s located in a quiet and lovely forest, nature all around. Perfect for a weekend (like us), midweek or even a few weeks, in my opinion. The change is very cozy, lovely decorated and offers everything one needs. As it was winter we did not sit outside but it must be amazing in spring, summer and autumn to do so, so we’re planning to return.

Cozy and Homy Chalet

The chalet is so cozy and comfy. Also it's very quiet at night which makes resting so good. The house is warm and the space is good for a family.

There is a bad smell of kerosene in the house which we noticed to lessen when the heater burner is running. Also, the bathroom door do not close and the third room's door is a bit hard to close and open. Drains are also clogged and needs some TLC.

Just perfect

Everything was just perfect. Location, the chalet was specious and well equipped. Top hostes (even if we didnt meet) Véronique to guide us through.

My family had a wonderful time here and did not want to leave! The cottage is super comfortable and cozy and Veronique's lovely Christmas decorations made it magical and even more cozy. The kids were thrilled. Veronique explained very clearly how to find the cottage and the key. It was no problem, even in the dark. She was very quick to respond to each message I sent her. And when we accidentally turned off the gas stove (the heating), and had to ask her how to turn it back on she called immediately to walk us through it. (She noted that an easier to use/more practical stove was due to be installed right after our visit, so that's another plus.) She even proposed to send us something we forgot by post! The kitchen is well-equipped and everything in the cottage is clean and works properly. The location is great for exploring the area. We visited Bokrijk and the Hasselt Christmas Market while we were there and it was great to be so close to both. We'll be back to explore the trails of the Hoge Kempen soon. Breakfast is delicious and the presentation is lovely (delivered on a wrapped tray and included special seasonal treats). This is an excellent place to say!

Won't stay again

Didn't like receiving a text a night before asking if we could check out by 11 am next day. Check out time was by 11:30. Check in time was supposed to be after the noon according the info on Booking.com but it was 3 pm. Communicating several times on SMS before and after was a bit stress. There was a cleaning instruction inside the house for the guests (is it on Booking.com?) We were surprised but we did anyway including vacuumcleaning the floor or cleaning the shower booth with anti-cal. Staying at hotel is easier.

Cute little chalet

The location and the cuteness of the chalet. So far , one of the best accommodations that I have stayed. Very cosy and uniquely decorated.

A bit strange that we needed to bring our own bed and bath linnen. Also the electricity fell out a few times during our stay.

Very well equipped, cozy atmosphere with attention to details, excellent communication with the hosts. It feels like home. Excellent for enjoying the nature and trips in the region. We will come back!

Ideaal verblijf om tot rust te komen

Gastvrijheid is top, communicatie verliep heel vlot & er was een leuke attentie voorzien bij aankomst! :) Super gezellige chalet, ideaal om tot rust te komen. Alles was netjes en goed onderhouden. We kwamen zeker niets te kort! Top!

Alles was naar wens ,te kort om de buurt te verkennen. Een aanrader wie er even tussenuit wil !

Een zeer verzorgd en uitgebreid ontbijt die op het afgesproken uur aan de deur werd geleverd. Een zeer mooie chalet , alles was voorhanden. Mooi versiert voor de kerstdagen.

de meerprijs voor het laken en linnen pakket per persoon stond anders aangegeven op de site bij het boeken van de chalet. Met 5 personen was dit een extra kost. Misschien even aanpassen zodat je een correcte prijs ziet bij het boeken.

zeer gezellige chalet met zeer lieve gastvrouw.. sprookjesachtig en dat in mooie omgeving

gezelligheid.. ligging.. alles was aanwezig. goede matras. heel leuke gezellige inrichting. ook terras met lage omheind voor hond. erg lieve gastvrouw. meteen antwoord op vragen.. makkelijk toegang duidelijk informatie

verwarming. het was goed warm maar de geur zat in alles in. en verwarming maakt ook veel lawaai.

Heel gezellig ingericht. Aangename verwelkoming. Super locatie, midden in het groen, veel uitvalsmogelijkheden. Zalige wandelingen vlakbij. Echt relaxen...

De buitenverlichting pastte niet echt bij het charmante chalet vonden we. Maar dit was verwaarloosbaar voor onze totaalbeleving 😉.

Charmant séjour au calme dans un beau chalet.

Chalet cosy très confortable. Situation très calme. Belles promenades dans les bois à deux minutes ou randonnées balisées en Campine. À 20' minutes d'Hasselt et de Maasmechelen. Propriétaire joignable en cas de besoin. Merci pour les petites attention à l'arrivée !

Prachtige omgeving en kleinschalig rustig park . Heel vriendelijke gastvrouw die heel veel informatie geefr. Een fles wijn en snoepjes stonden klaar bij aankomst. Ook koffie en thee. Nog eens dankuwel daarvoor. De chalet is zowel binnen als buiten heel gezellig ingericht , voorzien van alle benodigdheden. En vooral super proper Een aanrader

Een heerlijk chalet in de natuur

De omgeving. Wat een heerlijk huisje in de natuur. Genieten van de vogels en het bos. Rondom het chalet was ruimte genoeg om zowel in de zon als schaduw te zitten. Veel leuke zitplekjes gemaakt door de aardige host. Prima contact met haar, reageert snel.

De matrassen/ bedden vonden wij te zacht maar dat is een persoonlijk punt.
