My husband and I, along with my parents ( in their 60’s ) stayed here on a family celebration trip, and it couldn't have been a better introduction to Mexico city for my parents. The hotel is truly a stunning piece of art! My mother couldn't stop talking about how gorgeous everything was! From the moment you walk in, it is so modern, clean and beautiful and the staff so helpful and welcoming. You would never know from the street what awaits you when you enter. The rooms were beautifully designed, very comfortable and very clean, with lots of storage for our belongings. The beds had stunning linens, so soft and crisp and TVs has Netflix so we could watch movies during our daily siesta. The bathrooms and showers were clean and bright, and even with a smaller vanity area in our room, we were still able to do everything we needed. The hotel is also exceptionally quiet, a rarity in busy Mexico city! This is my husband and I’s 3rd time in Mexico City, and this was by far our best stay! We loved the quiet neighbourhood of Condessa! Lots of cute coffee shops, parks, DOGS!, and it has such an easy going local vibe. It's also easy to get to Roma on foot or a quick Uber to many more populated areas with shops and restaurants. We found this hotel and location perfect for our need for quiet and rest during the evenings but close enough to the action. The staff were super friendly, helpful, and available with any recommendations or to answer any of our questions.
While this hotel is certainly on the more expensive side, it was worth every penny and absolutely deserving of the Micheline recognition its received!
Thank you for an amazing stay!
We truly loved everything, so take this with a grain of salt! My husband has a bad neck and we both can be quite particular when it comes to our preferences with bed, mattress and pillows - something that is very subjective. We found the main pillows a bit too firm and the bed mattress a bit firm for our preference (We use a temperapetic mattress at home as a reference). However, we also understand most places tend to use a firmer bed as a standard to try and accommodate the most people, and we still slept decently, so don't let this be a deal breaker unless you are someone with a very specific need. Otherwise, the vanity in our room was quite compact, just a sink and mirror, no counter and a bit of storage below and above. It was very clean and efficient for a smaller space, but its just something to keep in mind if you are someone who likes a big mirror and counter space in a bathroom. My parents booked a suit, which had a much bigger bathroom with more counter space and vanity, so know there are options available if you want more space. It's not even that we didn't like these things, it's more just they are examples of a few things other guests may have a different preference around that can help inform your booking and expectations.

The staff at Octavia Casa is kind, friendly and very helpful. They arranged a delicious continental breakfast for us and prepared the best lattes! The location was convenient and secure and the rooms smelled lovely.
The water stopped in the middle of a shower for two of us in our group but Octavia Casa fixed the issue within 10 minutes!

The hotel is lovely, calm, and simple elegant in style. The staff is so kind and friendly, helpful and accessible. The location is perfect. Mexico City is huge so it makes sense to pick a neighborhood that feels good and use it as a base to explore other areas. Condesa is safe and leafy, and quiet.
The only thing that was missing were some chairs in the room. I like to have a place to sit and maybe read or work and the only place to do that is in bed. Since there is no real lobby, there should be some space in the room to sit.

Fantastic oasis in the middle of my favorite part of the city I visited, with tons of cafes and restaurants in walking distance. Decor was beautiful, bed was extremely comfy, and I loved the skylights and Le Labo products in the shower. The staff made an effort to talk to me about my travels and helped me with my giant bags. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Octavia Casa is a small well-appointed hotel with impeccable service. Loved the tasteful and thoughtful design and aesthetics. Staff were all very friendly and kind. Everyone spoke English and made us feel comfortable and welcome with great recommendations. Went out of their way to be accommodating. Top notch service.
Our room faced the street and there was occasional but significant street noise, particularly barking dogs.

Octavia Casa was the perfect place for our stay in CDMX. The staff was so nice, welcoming and accomodating. We could walk everywhere. Great restaurants nearby and plenty to do/explore.
Rooms are on the smaller side, but we expected that so it was not a problem at all. Even though rooms are small they are very clean, feels like modern luxury and most importantly the beds are so comfortable.

Great location in Condesa, Lovely rooms with cool and modern decor. The best thing though was the staff. We stayed at this property during our wedding weekend and we were admittedly not the easiest guests - the staff were incredibly accommodating and wonderful, from stretching our checkout time to providing me a room to do a work zoom.
I was totally satisfied, I guess if you were looking for extra amenities like pool, breakfast, gym, they don't have those.

excellent warm friendly staff, good sized well appointed rooms, boutique atmosphere, so personalised attention, great location, quiet street but in the heart of everything
this is a hotel charging full service five star prices for what is often a self service experience, the room is a good size, the breakfast is a buffet style oder in advance nescafe no espresso machine, and there is a well stocked honesty bar from 5-9 pm but no nice area to sit in , no actual bar with someone to prepare a drink, rooftop is very small and not set up to enjoy,
bathroom mixed, good to separate shower from toilet/sink but tiny so no space for toiletries for two people and weird no towel racks, not staffed 24 hours although someone on call 24/7
so nice hotel but too much self service to justify a five star price

The hotel is beautiful! The service is excellent. I was using whatsup to communicate with staff and they would immediately fulfill my requests or answer my questions. The location is quiet but close to many things!
it was a little loud. You could really hear other guests.

Octavia Casa is a gem - from start to finish. The building itself is exquisitely designed from the atrium in the lobby to room furnishings. The staff was helpful throughout the day and immediately attentive to our every travel need. They even set up the most cozy happy hour every evening - drinks, nibbles, scented candles and music - which was always appreciated. And then our room: comfortable beds, immaculately cleaned (twice a day by staff we never saw) and equipped with any food/drink/tech amenity you could think of.
After spending time in several 5* hotels that always seem to rely on their name rather than their service, I think a stay at Octavia Casa is a bargain for what you get. I would stay here again and will be recommending it to any network.

The hotel and room was stunning. It is quite nice that there are a limited amount of rooms at the hotel so it is a quiet oasis. The staff were incredibly nice and always available to assist with such kindness. This will be my go to hotel for all of my CDMX stays!

The location is everything, they are so many restaurants that are walking distance, the night life is not too big, but there is always people walking there dogs and families going out on walks at night.

The building and room design were beautiful. The air conditioner worked very well. The bed was very comfortable and the shower pressure was high.
There was almost no sound barrier in the room so you could hear dogs barking in neighboring buildings, staff conversations on the main floor, and every guest entry/exit.

The location was marvelous. Very close to restaurants, bars, and museums. The breakfast setup was very nice, however I think the charge of the breakfast was overpriced.
I think the breakfast should have been included in the stay since there was not a variety of food. I was expecting a more prepared meal other than just pastries and coffee.

Octavia Casa was breathtaking. Located on a quiet street in La Condesa, it was walking distance to shops and restaurants; a nice respite from the hectic center of town but a great home base for our CDMX adventures! Our room was spotless and meticulously made up, full of charming and thoughtful details. Breakfast was lovely, with delicious pastries and excellent options (croissants, local cheeses, fresh fruit and yogurt). The happy hour bar was delightful! The bed was one of the most comfortable we've ever slept on. The design of the hotel and its attention to detail was absolutely wonderful. The staff was attentive and gracious, and Berenice was especially helpful. We enjoyed our stay tremendously and will definitely be back.
Sometimes other guests were not very respectful, yelling up and down halls ways and in the stairwell after midnight, however this is certainly not the hotel's fault.
