Stay was ok but not worth the money we paid

Location

Cooking facilities were dirty, fridge freezing was dirty, quilts ect were all stained. Seating was all mismatched. Had to clean everything before using them.

Peaceful and tranquil with a short drive to towns and Northumberland

Travelled for work and was ideal for peace and quiet in a beautiful location right on the beach front, but only 10 mins drive to the port of Blyth. Would be ideal in the summer season for couples or families when the entertainment venue is open.

Excellent location on a fabulous beach.

Location was excellent, right on a year-round dog friendly beach. Easy to get to and site was very quiet when we visited though suspect it would be rammed when the school holidays start.

Found TV reception would slowly deteriorate over an hour or so to become unwatchable. But a quick plug reset of tv and router sorted it out and we weren’t there to watch TV anyway!

the owners were really nice, don’t normally write a review but the caravan needs updating and tlc and maybe was informed

was informed of change to stay, was not informed about change of berth. paid for platinum in sandy bay 8 berth received a 2 berth with hot tub with 5 guests

The location was excellent. The accommodation was very comfortable. The decking was great. A lovely family holiday. Lots to do and see.

Dog dirt. Some people on the site seem to think it’s ok to let their dogs go anywhere and not clean up after them. I don’t blame the site operators for this. Maybe more signage would help. The Wi-Fi was unreliable.

Great location

Freezing when we arrived. No gas in either bottles & had to wait for another gas bottle to arrive before we could even put the heating on! WiFi code was wrong and had to use our own 4G for 3 days!

The caravans location on site was really good Inside you had everything you needed my only criticism was the quality of the bed linen . The single beds were more catered for children rather than adults The beach was not very clean lots of dog waste and rubbish.

Great host, lovely clean holiday home, would recommend

Nice, clean and comfy holiday home. Great location by the beach/sea. You can either stay on the holiday park which has the club house and a shop (and an indoor leisure centre, which we didn’t use on this occasion), or its a 2 minute drive into Newbiggin-by-the-Sea. Good location for exploring other places too, Cresswell beach is well worth a visit, especially if you have a dog. The host was brilliant, easy to contact and provided a great level of information prior to us arriving. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.
