This was a great location in the center of town and close (5 minutes) from the train station.

Good cost benefit

Very good location, just across the Rhine river and in less than 5 min you are in the center of Bacharach. The room had a very nice view of the vineyards, it was very big room and clean

The train rails are just in front of the hotel and sometimes it can be quite noisy. It was not a problem for me as we had a room facing the street, not the river.

Convienient

The hotel was close to the station and the room had a good view. The room was large although the bathroom was tiny, and the bed was comfortable.

We could not find the entrance and spent about 45 minutes walking around outside. No sign and nobody there to greet us. This hotel is above a Spanish restaurant and eventually one of the waitresses for the restaurant turned up for work and let us in and gave us a key to the room. There was no information given about the check in process before hand so I assumed someone would be there to greet us- we did give the time we would arrive.

Fantastic place to stay (especially if you like trains and are looking for somewhere interesting)!

Comfortable spacious room. We had the room with the balcony over the trainline which was fantastic! When the window and door were closed there was no train noise. Beautiful location on city wall. Lovely old building.

Bathroom was a bit dated and the extractor fan made the bathroom smell faintly of cooking smells from the downstairs restaurant.

The hotel is very nice and special. It would be nicer to make check out time at 11 am

The location next to the train station. It is a restaurant downstairs with nice terrace. You can watch the trains passing by really close while you having dinner or drinks

They don’t have breakfast option. The restaurant is opening at 5pm. Check out is at 10am. And all the restaurants and cafes in the city mostly open after 11-12 in the morning. So it is a bit difficult to have a breakfast after check out and you have to wait until other cafes will be open.

Superb

Lovely room with a balcony. The bed was really comfy and despite being next to the railway I still slept well. The location is great for access to the train station, the river and town. The restaurant was also really nice and I recommend eating there during the stay.

The room was very hot in summer, there's a fan in the room but it only provides a little cooling.

Amazing place at the Upper Middle Rhine Valley and on the West Rhine Railway

Some rooms are just on top of a railway line. You can see all passing trains, which is an amazing experience! The trains pass very frequently, but if you don't like the sound, with closed windows, it's calm enough to sleep.

Very noisy, the hotel was next to the railway line and building work next door The hotel is primarily a restaurant with rooms and staff don't seem interested in guests. I asked if the room was available an extra night or if I could leave my luggage after checking out as I wanted to do a day cruise The girl I spoke to said that she would let me know - never came back to me. The whole place smells of fish and the room I was given was nothing like the ones pictured. There was no extractor in the shower room and only a fan in the bedroom. I plugged it in one socket and got a slight shock as the socket was wobbly Kettle but no tea or coffee

The spring mattress was apparently too old and it squeaked at every movement. The room is above the railways, and we knew about that, but could have been more soundproofed.

Great location, and great restaurant! The rooms are very comfortable.

The train tracks are right outside your window, and the trains travel all night long. Every 20 minutes or so, a VERY LOUD train rumbles by. If you’re a light sleeper, this could be a slight inconvenience.

OK for the price, but not wonderful

We only stayed one night while travelling. The room was large, but all furniture was cheap flat pack variety. The light from the passage outside shone through cracks in the bedroom door. Although the hotel is right on the railway line, I must be honest and say there was no noise or disturbance. Being early Spring, the trees were bare so we did have a view of the Rhine, which was nice. The restaurant was very nice, and quite popular. The lady was very friendly The village is well worth seeing. It is stunning medieval, with great wines from the area..

Bij de route staat een adres wat ad achterkant vh hotel zit dat duurde even voordat we dat doorhadden en de naam vh hotel was ook anders, dus wat verwarrend

Prima verblijfplaats.

Ons beviel het meest de centrale locatie, je kunt vanaf hier direct het centrum in. Je bent op 100 meter afstand van de Rijn zodat je die prachtig kunt zien stromen. Er zijn voldoende beschikbare parkeerplaatsen te vinden.

Ons viel niets tegen, het was precies zoals wij verwacht hadden.

Für den Zweck war das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis perfekt

Die Lage an der Bahn ist halt ungünstig! Eine fünffach Verglasung wie beschrieben liegt leider nicht vor. Man hört halt jeden Zug der vorbei teilweise vibriert auch das Zimmer durch die Last der direkten Bahnstrecke.
