懐かしのである。Bacharachには1989年から1991年にかけて，毎月のように訪れていて，2度ほど宿泊したことがあった。当時は無論internetなぞは未だ無く，どうやって予約したのかというと目をつけておいて飛び込みである。鉄道が好きなのである，だから当然窓から見えるどころでは無く線路ぎわ，そしてその向こうに悠々とRheinの流れるこの景色だけで十分満足なのである。（私の部屋は）めっぽう広く，大きな風呂桶もあり温度も水量も十分。wifi十分。朝飯は食べてないので評価不能だが，食堂も経営していてSpanishらしかったが大勢客がいたので美味しいのだろうと推察される。
城壁をそのまま生かしているのだから当然と言えば当然なのだが，飛行機許容限度いっぱいの23kgのスーツケースなぞ持っていると，ホテルまでの石段，部屋までの階段とそれなりに苦労することは覚悟した方がいい。ただこの辺の人はとても親切だから，石段を登りそうだなと思うと遠くから見ていても手伝って（或いは代わりに持って）くれることが多いので頼ってもいいかも。

De unieke ligging, in een prachtig pand langs het spoor. En in een heel mooi stadje langs de rijn.
Voor ons echt helemaal niets.

Ausgesprochen einfache Ausstattung, kein Frühstück, sehr warm, durch nähen Zugverkehr sehr laut.
