Really great stay, amazing hosts and amazing location.

Came here for a girls weekend away! AMAZING experience. The apartment was great, really spacious and really clean. So, so close to everything, with loads of bars, pubs and places to eat nearby, and the famous Temple Bar about a 30 second walk away. The whole team at City Break Apartments were so helpful and super friendly, from airport pick-up and drop-off to checking in throughout our stay. Will definitely recommend to anyone coming to Dublin, really great value for money. Will 100% be staying here again.

Showers were difficult to get hot, very hard to work out the heating and ensure a group of 5 people all get a hot shower No washing up liquid or dishwasher tablets or paper towels provided to clean up

There was no elevator. We had to walk up three flights of stairs with our luggage. That was very challenging. The said there was a washer and dryer but the dryer didn’t dry clothes.

Clean comfortable spacious. Really enjoyed people watching on the balcony. Felt safe in our accommodation.

No parking. No discount for parking. We really had to watch our bags due to drug addicts looking for opportunities to thieve. On first arrival off the plane on our car we witnessed a distressed woman panicking and approaching people back and forth across the street. She approached a Romanian lady who panicked trying to get away from her in amongst a crowded street at the traffic lights. All of a sudden the Romanian woman dropped her bag kicked her shoes off and ran away with the distressed woman chasing her. As this was our first impression of public city life in Dublin we were quite concerned about our safety. Photos given from the front of our accommodation were deceiving. We were pleasantly surprised once inside.

Nive apartmenr in central location

Central location (if you prefer staying in Temple Bar), spacious and modern apartment, 2 bathrooms, little balcony, easy online check-in available, 24 h office

Could have been a bit cleaner, problems with the key app - we were a group of 6, and as soon as someone who was not the person who booked the apartment opened the doors with the app, 3 other people got kicked out of the app, so they were not able to use the key and thus couldn't get into the apartment.

Spacious for a family - good central location

Whilst location was nice and central the noise was an issue - the windows didn’t seem to keep out the noise of the local pubs and the other resident banged doors and stomped up and down steps at all hours of the night made it hard to sleep

Superb Location , Friendly Staff and ideal for groups

The property is as pictured , was really clean and warm / cosy . Spacious with a nice balcony , bathrooms and amenities were great . The location is Superb on the doorstep of everything you need .

We managed to “boost” the showers but the water was still only lukewarm , would have been nice to have hot water each morning as stated .

The location was fantastic, specifically if you really want the pub and nightlife vibe. Plenty of space for our group of 7.

Didn’t really dislike anything about the property. However, you do have to walk upstairs with your luggage.

Right in the heart of Temple Bar

the apartment was in the very heart of temple bar area and all the shops, restaurants, and bars were readily available on foot. the apartment was roomy and accommodated 7 persons comfortably. the bathrooms were clean and well maintained. appliances were fairly new and worked well. amenities were as advertised.

there were no window coverings in the living area. the lights from surrounding buildings made it almost impossible to sleep in there. and it felt we were in a fish bowl. anyone could look inside. we bought black bin bags and tape and covered the windows

Convenient but cold

The property is well situated with plenty of bars, shops and restaurants within a very short walking distance. The property slept 6 people well even with one sofa bed being broken. The property was clean and tidy on arrival.

We had some issues a first trying to access the property, the key system is digital and requires an app to be downloaded which is an advantage as you do not have to drop keys off upon leaving, however the app did not work first time and we had to be let in by builders. In relation to builders, there is building work being carried out directly outside the property which starts at around 0730/0800, it would have been nice to be made aware of this. The heating/ hot water system is a bit confusing at first, hot water is stored to be used in the morning but can be ‘boosted’ throughout the day however this system did not always work. There are no radiators in the property, however there are two small electric heaters which we used for the living room and shared between bedrooms but be aware when the temperature outside drops the property can be very cold of a morning or nighttime.

Bad experience, uncomfortable beds, would NOT stay again.

The host would not give us access to the property until we filled in an extra booking form in their website AND provided a copy of either my passport or drivers licence. This was a breach of our privacy and completely unacceptable after booking through booking.com

Good location close to everything you need and want. Also the size of apartment was good, very spacious.

It was a bit run down. Water damage to flooring, beds very uncomfortable, didn’t get entry right away had to wait for 40 mins. Not enough towels for size of party. Toaster was only two slices and we were a group of seven. Tv didn’t work at all tried everything.

Heating didn’t work properly in the living room, so it was very cold in the apartment. The water boiler shut down so the water was cold as well in one of the bathrooms and in the kitchen. Could have adaptors for European power outlets.

The apartment was spacious and clean, with good kitchen amenities.

We stayed in apartment number 1 and the beds were horrible. They were so bad the springs were digging in to us. Not an exaggeration. They were awful, so we had to sleep on the sofa bed in the living-room. There were two, but one didn’t work. I’d like to suggest to the manager that you invest in some good quality pillow top beds. The rest of the apartment was fine, but the beds let it down. We travelled 10 hours from California. A good nights sleep is very important to most people, and there’s nothing worse than traveling all that way, with jet jag, and have to try to sleep on horrible beds. Just based on the beds, I would never recommend this place.

Location was where we needed to be

Check in was far from the accommodation. Electronic key system was tricky to master. There was no hot water in the kitchen and second bathroom. Outdoor patios were not clean. Laminate flooring was badly buckled in the lounge- a trip hazard for older people. We arranged and paid for a late checkout, but there were problems with the electronic key and we couldn't leave the apartment for a good period of the extra time we paid for.

the location and how spacious it was

the floor hadnt been cleaned and so we ended up worn filthy feet and socks. the hot water in the en suit didn’t work at all so we either used the other shower or had cold showers and the sink was also giving out hot water. the hot water in the kitchen also wasn’t working so we washed up with cold water. the floor in the front room also has a huge air pocket which was very dangerous and kept making us trip. and the balcony door didn’t lock as the lock was broken which was a concern
