Once they get your money they don't care

Worst stay I had anywhere. We booked this more expensive apt compared to others in the area because we wanted 4 beds, there was only 3 beds, including the sofa bed, for which there was a duvet and pillow but no linen, so ended up having to share beds. The mattresses and pillows are old and uncomfortable, the curtains in one of the rooms don't close all the way, so you have a street light shining directly on your face all night. The ceiling in the bathroom above the shower is chipped,falling apart, looks like dampness that they've just repeatedly painted over, no dishwasher( they claim all the apts have dishwashers). The coffee table is not usable, it is so badly crooked anything you put on it slides over and we were afraid it would fall apart if used. This is a regular apt building, not just holiday rentals, there was an alarm on the ground floor going during all our stay. We went back on the last day for a rest after lunch, the fire alarm started going off, scared we started looking around the apt when it stopped, 2 minutes later it came on again, put on our shoes and run out the door, only to meet a random man in one of the hallways who tells us they're conducting tests( we were never told this in advance) alarms went off 2 more times. Even tho I paid the non refundable/no cancelation fee with card I still had to pay 1€ "deposit" which you don't get back. The staff at the key collection told us we could not check in without downloading their app,absolutely no chance to get the key without doing this, there was a data breach during our stay and I kept getting whatsapp messages, its been 7 weeks since I requested my account to be deleted from the app, and they still haven't done so, when I raised this on the phone they said it was my choice to download the app and I could've checked in without it.I contacted them to let them know our issues they basically blamed us and blocked my email, they just don't care. I could go on...

The alternate property was in a great location, close to everything we needed, and within walking distance of shops and attractions. Communication with the property managers was prompt at times, and they eventually acknowledged the issue with the booking and agreed to a partial refund.

We were contacted just 48 hours before check-in and advised that our original property was unavailable due to plumbing issues. Our booking was transferred to a completely different property, which only had three beds instead of the five confirmed in our original booking. The managers initially accused me of falsifying information about the listing, and only after I provided screenshots did they agree to refund 15%—a refund that has still not been received after seven days. The replacement apartment also had several issues: a leaking toilet that required a towel around the base, a mouldy and dirty bathroom with visible water damage and an unpleasant odour, and five steep flights of stairs to reach the entrance (not mentioned anywhere and not suitable for anyone with mobility concerns). The property managers also claimed that bedding layouts are “subject to availability,” which is concerning given that this was not stated anywhere in the original listing.

On the whole our stay was very pleasant and comfortable.

The location was perfect for walking in the centre, the flat was well equipped for our needs, it had a balcony and quite a modern outlook. There is a lift as well.

Initially it was difficult to find, the tap in the bathroom was somewhat faulty, the sofa bed was quite unstable.

There was 4 adults and 2 children in the apartment and we had plenty of room. It was spotlessly clean. It had pots, pans, hairdryer, hoover, cleaning products basically everything you need. It is not actually at the address in booking.com but in that area. The area is noisy as there is a takeaway downstairs that is still open at 3.a.m but to be honest the noise never bothered us.

For some people it might be a bit of a walk to the temple area and the shopping center but there are plenty of buses so it is not an issue.

The sofa bed was very uncomfortable, there were significantly more rules/instructions provided as a physical copy once we arrived at the apartment (not mentioned when booking) such as an extra charge for excess power usage, and we were given the wrong location for the key pick up and had to get transport to two different places and then walk our luggage to the apartment on a different street.

De locatie is uitstekend, de meeste bezienswaardigheden zijn op wandelafstand. Supermarkten en horeca vind je letterlijk in de straat.

Het zetelbed was van zeer slechte kwaliteit, met een dunne matras die het lichaam geen enkele ondersteuning bood. De ondergrond waarop de matras lag, bestond uit een soort tentdoek waardoor je bijna doorzakte. Dit is hoogstens geschikt voor een klein kind, maar zeker niet voor een volwassen persoon. Wij hebben de matras op de grond moeten leggen om iets van een deftige slaap te kunnen hebben.

Uma complicação para ir buscar chaves sendo que só é enviado às instruções de entrada no apartamento no próprio dia, obrigando a ter internet no telemóvel para se fazer check in, não existindo outra forma para isso seria mais certo enviar muito antes como também pedirem 1€ sem uma explicação lógica e sem terem alertado na reserva e somente há poucas horas do check-in, quando se está em viagem não é de todo fácil obter internet, colocar dados de cartões pagamento e pedirem uma foto do cartão de identidade com fotos informando no próprio momento e nunca solicitado na reserva quando até já está tudo pago, não está certo esta falta de clareza obrigando a novas regras e caso não é feito perde se a reserva ,o valor pago.

Fantástico apartamento en el corazón de Dublín

La ubicación, cerca de todo, la amabilidad al llegar, ya que ya tenían listo el apartamento y nos dieron las llaves siendo muy temprano por la mañana. La cocina muy equipada, toallas y jabones de baño perfecto. Las camas quizás fallaban un poco, podrían ser más cómodas pero nada insoportable. Muy bien aislado del ruido ya que es una zona de bares y mucho movimiento y por la noche no se escuchaba nada.

La cocina muy pequeña he incomoda para acceder, prácticamente no entraban dos personas. Íbamos con niños pequeños y no eran seguras las salidas a los balcones, aunque tenían unos dispositivos de cierre de seguridad, faltaban en alguno de ellos y en otros no funcionaban bien.

La ubicación excelente, en pleno centro y cercano a todas las actividades. El departamento muy comodo y practico. Llegamos y estaba todo armado, preparado y listo para recibirnos.

Me parece que podría ser mejor que las llaves se recojan desde la misma ubicación del departamento, porque me toco llegar con lluvia y tener que ir de una dirección para retirar las llaves a la otra que era donde estaba el departamento. En mi caso le pedí a una conocida que retirara las llaves para no tener que hacerlo yo con maletas y niños bajo la lluvia, y no pudo ya que tenia que hacer un check in on line para registrar una tarjeta de garantía, al no saber esto, tuve que hacerlo de camino en la calle, y fueron cosas que me parecieron engorrosas y sin sentido, podrían agilizarlas antes de la llegada, ya que me toco llegar con lluvia y tuve que hacer todos estos tramites caminando con maletas bajo la lluvia. Me parece que deberían hacer mas fácil esa gestión, que se pueda hacer con una mayor anticipación para no hacerlo a ultimo momento que uno en ese caso lo único que quiere es llegar e instalarse. Fuera de esa situación, mi experiencia fue muy buena.

Kom hier niet naar toe! Prijs/kwaliteit niet in orde, zeer slecht onderhouden appartement.

Weinig om over op te scheppen

Zeer verouderd appartement, met een verwarm systeem voor het water dat eerst geactiveerd moet worden via een knop, waarna het nog 20 minuten duurt alvorens je een douche kan nemen of afwassen in de keuken. 2 mensen konden douchen en dan moesten we half uur wachten alvorens er weer kon gedoucht worden. De deuren maken verschrikkelijk lawaai met een hydraulisch systeem. Je houdt zeer veel lawaai van de straat, ook al zijn de ramen toe, totaal niet geïsoleerd. Het ligt vlakbij een uitgangsbuurt, met zeer veel nachtlawaai en gelegen in een drukke straat met zeer veel(bus) verkeer. Men geeft aan op de site dat het geschikt is voor 6 personen, maar dat is het zeker niet! Rond de keukentafel maar 4 stoelen en een zetelbed dat erg oncomfortabel is, je voelt de latten stuk voor stuk. In de keuken geen afvoerstop zodat afwassen zeer moeilijk is. De lavabo in de badkamer sluit ook niet goed af. Een gat in een nachtkastje en een scharnier in een kast die kapot los hing. Kortom het ergste verblijf ooit. Te duur voor wat je krijgt.

A part la localisation qui est bien, le reste est vraiment nul !

Idéalement situé dans le quartier animé. Le samedi soir c'est VRAIMENT très bruyant. Plein de magasins et restaurants à proximité. Petit vendeur de pizza juste en bas, pizza très bonnes.

La récupération des clés, un cauchemar. On vous communique l'adresse de l'appartement 1 heure avant l'heure du check-in L'adresse de récupération des clés dans une boite à clé, n'est vraiment pas facile à trouver et se trouver à 8 minutes de marche de l'appartement, pas facile avec les valises, sans parler que vous êtes en plein Grafton street. Les adresses sont confuses, vous avez différentes adresses sur la réservation, le porte clés, les infos de l'hôtel... j'ai dû appeler 2 fois pour comprendre ce que je devais faire. Pas d'isolation dans l'appartement, vous entendez jour et nuit les voitures passées, on se demandait même si les fenêtres n'étaient pas ouvertes !!! mais non ! Tout est vétuste, les portes ne sont vraiment pas pratiques, vous verrez si vous y allez ! Ca fait 20 ans que j'utilise Booking et je n'avais jamais vu ça !
