Anne Apartment, at the Venetian Port of Rethimno!

We loved the layout of the apartment and the fabulous views of Rethimno harbour. Everything was found as described and wonderfully clean. There was bread, cheese and fruit in the fridge on arrival which was sincerely appreciated as we arrived quite late. The apartment is located above a restaurant in the old town so we liked to open the windows and listen to the buzz. Being in the old town meant there was lots to walk around and see, and places to eat. The bus station was handy too, for day trips to Chania and Heraklion.

We had trouble finding the apartment entrance, so maybe this could be better described. Also there was only 1 door-key which meant we had to coordinate ourselves. Not a big issue but maybe a second key could be made available. For other items - finding a local map in the apartment would have been appreciated so we left ours there for the next people. Also if you are getting a shared bus from the airport then find/select the name of a nearby hotel which the bus can access. I mention this only because our experience was chaotic and we spent the whole journey not knowing where we would end up.

Beautifully renovated apartment with the best location right on the harbour. Appreciated the welcome amenities - bread, fruit, cheese, juice and the early check-in.

The location was excellent! The apartment was spacious and very comfortable.

It was hard to find. So some more information would have been helpful. Like the restaurant name it was located at. Or a map to show exactly where it was. Water was not drinkable was a little inconvenient but nothing too stressful.
