The property was amazing. from the moment we arrived we knew it would be a great stay. the owner of the property also owns a bakery next door. very cool. the property is in an amazing location right where all the amazing restaurants are.

Het is een fantastische accommodatie! Zowel de ontvangst als de accommodatie alsook de ligging. Echt alles klopte! We hebben een fantastische vakantie gehad! Speciale vermelding voor de eigenaren van dit prachtige huis. Wat een ontzettend lieve en behulpzame mensen! We hebben het contact zeer gewaardeerd.
Eigenlijk niets noemenswaardigs, of het moet zijn dat je ‘s nachts het geluid van het uitgaansleven soms hoort. Maar daar kan de (eigenaar van de) accommodatie niets aan doen.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully restored Venetian villa in the heart of Rethymno’s old town. The location is perfect — just a short walk to the port, beaches, fortress, and all the main attractions.
The house was spotless, extremely well cared for, and fully equipped with everything we could need — beach towels, shower towels, hair dryer, and a kitchen with all the amenities. On top of that, we were welcomed with thoughtful extras: water, coffee, things to make breakfast with, and of course, delicious baklava and kataifi.
Mr. Paraskevas, the owner, was incredibly welcoming — he gave us a tour of the villa on arrival, explained where we could find everything we needed, and made us feel right at home. Communication through Booking was also smooth, efficient, and very helpful.
What made our stay even more special was that Mr. Paraskevas works right across the street at his traditional phyllo workshop. Not only was it convenient to find him if we needed anything, but we also got to taste his amazing pastries — he makes the best baklava in the world, truly a must-try when staying here!
Overall, a beautiful villa with great hospitality in the best location. Highly recommended!
