Bliss House

Staying at the Bliss House in Rethymno was truly one of the highlights of our trip. The location couldn't have been better — tucked right at the edge of the old downtown market, giving us the perfect balance of a quiet retreat and easy access to all the charm and buzz of the market just steps away. The apartment itself is stunning: brand new, beautifully designed, and immaculately clean. Honestly, it easily ranks among the top three places we've ever stayed. What made it even more special was the owner, who was an absolute superstar — checking in on us almost every day to make sure everything was perfect. As a bonus, they also run one of the best restaurants in the area, with fantastic food that offers wonderful value for money. Highly recommended — from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making our stay so special. We already miss it and can't wait to come back."

Really Nothing

Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut und die Einrichtung ist wirklich wunderschön! Sehr geschmackvoll und durchdacht. Wir haben uns direkt sehr wohl gefühlt und wollten am liebsten gar nicht abreisen. Christos hat sich zwischendurch gemeldet und gefragt, ob er etwas tun kann. Der Kontakt war immer äußerst freundlich. Beim Check-in standen sogar Nektarinen und Croissants für uns bereit, was ist besonders aufmerksam finde. Auf der Terrasse sitzt man sehr ruhig und windgeschützt, man vergisst dann schnell, dass man direkt im Zentrum wohnt. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!

Hat eigentlich nicht mit der Unterkunft zutun, aber die Parksituation ist teilweise sehr angespannt. Man muss manchmal länger suchen, bis man einen Parkplatz findet. Viele kosten auch Geld. Das sollte man vielleicht wissen, wenn man mit Mietwagen anreist. Aber Christos hat uns sogar vor dem Check-in Parkplätze empfohlen.

We absolutely loved our stay at Bliss House. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Rethymno’s Old Town and within walking distance of everything. The property has only recently opened and is simply stunning. The beautifully restored historic building has been renovated with incredible attention to detail, combining authentic charm with elegant design. Our room was bright, stylish, and thoughtfully furnished with custom-made pieces, and the private patio was a wonderful addition. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. What made our stay even more special was the warm hospitality of the hostess, who welcomed us with genuine kindness and thoughtful touches throughout our stay. A truly beautiful place that exceeded all expectations. We would happily return and highly recommend it. 10/10.

Everything was perfect.

Stayed at Bliss House recently and had a really great experience overall!! The location is ideal, right in the center of Rethymno, so we could walk everywhere easily, including the old town, restaurants, cafés and the beach. The apartment was spotless when we arrived, very quiet at night and so nicely decorated!! It felt comfortable and well taken care of and had everything we needed for our stay. Check-in was smooth, communication was excellent throughout and everyone was genuinely kind and always helpful whenever we needed anything. There is free parking at Rethymno Marina about 10 minutes walk away, so we usually left the car there but sometimes we managed to find parking on the nearby streets. Bliss House is one of the best places I’ve stayed in and I would definitely choose it again when visiting Rethymno!!
