TV could be lower and be on a more manuverable bracket, but this is the only fault.

The home was well equipped with plenty of linens and pillows, outdoor chairs, coffee, juice, tea, and fresh scones. The kitchen was set up with everything we needed to cook our meals for a couple of days, plenty of pots, pans, utensils, etc. Geraldine came out to greet us and make sure we had everything we needed. The location is great. Nice and quiet, about 8 minutes from Kenmare town. We really enjoyed our stay here and spent time outdoors looking at the beautiful view.

Location was stunning. Kitchen clean, well stocked, good modern appliances. Bed comfortable. Loved the hand made cakes, jam and fresh flowers. Thank you.

We thought long and hard about these comments but need to mention some fundamental flaws with the property. The WiFi did not work, which was incredibly frustrating as there was very little phone signal. We could not plan our days or stream TV. The bathroom desperately needs updating (shower was leaking), which we understand is due in the winter. But the peeling toilet seat needs changing now, as there is no way that can be properly cleaned between guests. The room was damp, as evidenced by the amount of water in the dehumidifier. The water from the tap tasted metallic so we used bottled water for hot drinks. There was some noise from room above and we appreciate host had left out earplugs and white noise machine. We would recommend putting sofa and TV in bedroom as it is uncomfortable to use at such close quarters in current position high up on the wall. A towel rail would be welcomed.
