Really enjoyed our stay in Kenmare. The house was spotless and well looked after. It had everything we needed. It's in a perfect location so we could walk into the town for breakfast and dinner and there is certainly a lot to do in Kenmare. Communication was excellent and we had no issues checking in or checking out. Highly recommended!

Our family of 4 stayed here for 6 nights. The location is perfect. It is in a quiet street with parking out front, only a 10 min walk into the beautiful town of Kenmare where there are multiple dining options. It is a great base to enjoy exploring County Kerry. It was quite cold when we arrived, however the heating was already on in the home which was lovely and Caroline dropped in shortly after arrival to make sure we had vetting we needed. The kitchen was very well equipped for cooking for a family. We initially couldn’t work out how to get hot water, but a quick message to Caroline and her prompt reply had us all sorted) - there were a couple of switches that we needed to turn on). Would highly recommend.

A quick call to Ann when we were close and she was waiting for us when we arrived. She answered all our questions, showed us everything we needed to know about the house and was a wealth of ilocal knowledge. The house was clean and had everything we needed, well stocked kitchen with sufficient utensils to hand. Plenty of hot water and powerful showers. Ideal location less than a 10min walk in to the centre, supermarkets a little further walk or 2min drive. Will definitely look to book next year.

What a lovely place as our base for visiting County Kerry. Easy walking distance to the town of Kenmare, this 3 bedroom was spacious, easy to find and an ideal place for seeing the region. Great communication from the friendly and helpful host. No issues at all.

Located just a few blocks from downtown in a quiet residential neighborhood, this comfortable house immediately felt like home. Ann was easy to reach and met us to show us around the house. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked.

We spent a week in the house on a family vacation. The house is in 15 min walking distance from Kenmare town center. It's spacious and has everything you need in terms of facilities. Kenmare is a great starting point to discover the Kerry and Beara peninsulas and has lots of things to do. Ann, the local contact for the house, is very nice and helpful if you need anything. One point that should be clarified: The house is advertised as "having wifi". Technically true, having wifi does not mean having internet access. That internet access will cost you another 15 EUR per week and was certainly not the fastest service I ever had (varied depending on time of day, but 5 Mbps was the best I ever achieved).

This was a spacious, clean and bright house. Home is larger than you would imagine from details online. Ann was helpful and accommodating. The house is perfect distance from the town with less than a 10 min walk in. There is a petrol station and well stocked shop at the end of the road for anything you might need. Would definitely book again.

The house was more than I expected, rooms were all spacious and in a great location close to town and there was a shop just around the corner that sold everything you'd need. Host was great and we were met on arrival and Ann checked in to make sure all was OK during our stay. House is great for groups, whether that be adults or someone with a young family. Kenmare is a beautiful town with plenty of great eating places and beautiful scenic drives nearby.

The house worked perfectly for our needs. House was very comfortable and felt “homey”. Very easy walk into Kenmare, which is the best city in Ireland to get a real vibe for the country. Beds were ok, appliance worked fine. Very reasonable price for the six day stay. One thing to note, the amenities mention WiFi and internet, but do not mention the 15 euro fee. Small thing but should be mentioned in the info on the house. Would not have changed my mind, but nice to know up front. The house caretaker explained how everything worked in the house and we had no issues and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful townhouse in Kenmare. It was beautifully decorated, fully equipped, very clean and comfortable. Walking distance to everything in Kenmare, which is an absolutely wonderful town. Perfect location for touring Killarney, Cork and the Ring of Kerry. Ann, the caretaker, was outstanding. She even checked in twice to see if we needed anything, and the table was beautifully set for us upon arrival. We highly recommend this townhouse to anyone visiting Kenmare. Thanks!

THE HOUSE WAS EVERYTHING WE NEEDED FOR OUR SHORT STAY IN KENMARE. THE ONLY COMPLAINT I HAVE IS THAT THE BED IN THE EN SUITE BEDROOM IS VERY CREAKY AND MADE IT VERY DIFFICULT TO HAVE A DECENT NIGHTS SLEEP AS IT MADE A NOISE EVERY TIME ANYONE MOVED A LIMB. MORE DETAIL NEEDS TO BE GIVEN AS TO WHICH BIN SHOULD BE USED FOR WHICH WASTE MATTER, ALSO OTHER PEOPLE IN THE AREA WERE USING THE BINS FOR THE HOUSE WE HAVE VISITED KENMARE BEFORE AND AGAIN THE TOWN AND THE VIEWS OF THE COUNTRYSIDE DID NOT DISAPPOINT AND THE AMAZING WEATHER WE HAD MADE IT EVEN MORE SPECTACULAR

Kenmare was an excellent choice for a base. The house was ten minutes walk from the town: close enough not to have to drive, far enough to be very quiet. Very well-equipped house. Good-sized kitchen/ dining/ sitting room, as well as three good-sized bedrooms. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay.

We had a fantastic stay at Forelands. Anne was very helpful before we arrived and even popped in to see us and check all was ok just after our arrival, much appreciated, thank you. The house suited our needs since we were a party ranging in age from 24 to 83. Plenty of space and all facilities one could want. Great location for walking into town or on the road exploring around Kilarney and the Beara Peninsula. Fantastic scenery and the weather was good. Would definitely recommend property and would like to return to carry on exploring another day.

Our party of six for used this house during a long weekend as a base to explore parts of the Ring of Kerry. The kitchen was equipped with ample dishes, silverware, and cooking utensils for our group. We fully used all three bedrooms upstairs plus the Murphy bed, located behind a decorative panel, in the downstairs living room. One end our travels extended as far as Portmagee and Skellig Michael; the other end to the Gap of Dunloe, Torc Falls, and other sites within Killarney National Park. Furthermore, the house itself sits within easy walking distance of the attractions in the town center. Internet access at the house would have been an added plus, yet we found wifi at several locations in town.

26 Forelands was exactly as advertised. Roomy enough for the family of 7, with all the amenities needed. No wifi, but we were able to connect in Kenmare, which was an easy walk away, with lots of shops and good restaurants. A short distance to Killarney National Park. We would love to return!

We had a lovely time in Kenmare. The house was clean. We had a short, safe and pretty walk into town from the house. Kenmare is enjoyable, with delicious pubs, live music, and cute shops. This house is close to Killarney and not far from all of the Kerry sites! We hope to go back to Kenmare!
