Kyo no Yado Hanano - Vacation STAY 84356

Everything! The entire house was brilliant! From the moment you walk through the door, you can feel the wonderful and welcoming environment. Everything was neatly organized and I loved the very detailed instructions on how to use everything. I loved that this property has dryer, a rarity. The bathroom was spectacular. The beds were super comfortable. Absolutely everything you need was provided inside the house. The house is modern and yet its a wonderful opportunity to feel what it was like living in a traditional Machiya homes from Japan’s past. The house is super easy to find and near Gojo station via the Kyoto subway line. It was overall very peaceful and quiet and I will happily come and stay again. I highly recommend this property if you’re looking for a perfect mix of modern and traditional Japanese culture. Note: This particular house kept the original roof intact after it was remodeled.

The only quibble I had was that the garden seemed a bit smaller than the picture and that that the big green exit sign was quite bright. These are notwithstanding and overall have absolutely no baring on the overall outstanding ratings.
