We had a wonderful stay at this property in Kyoto. The location is excellent, just one stop away from Kyoto Station, making it very convenient for getting around while still being in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood.
The apartment is spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained, with a lovely traditional Japanese atmosphere. One pleasant surprise was that the property has two toilets, which made it especially convenient for a larger group of friends staying together.
There is also a FamilyMart just around the corner, making it easy to pick up snacks, drinks, or any essentials. The quiet surroundings make it a great choice not only for groups of friends but also for families looking for a relaxing stay away from the busy tourist areas.
Overall, it was a lovely place to stay, and I would happily visit again. Highly recommended!
The only downside for us was the location in relation to the main shopping streets and markets. Aside from the nearby FamilyMart, most shopping and dining areas required a bus ride to reach. This wasn’t the property’s fault, as we should have checked the location more carefully before booking.
Getting into the city was easy enough, but returning by bus during rush hour could be quite crowded and inconvenient. That said, taking an Uber back was a good alternative and usually cost around ¥1,000, which we found very reasonable.
Overall, this was only a minor inconvenience, and the peaceful neighborhood and spacious accommodation more than made up for it.

The house is rich in personality, lot of cute artworks, kitchenwares, utensils. Neatly designed interior. Also very clean!

Loved our stay here. Very spacious with plenty of space to spread out. Quiet street, yet close to a train station. One stop away from Kyoto station which was convenient. Everything we needed! Bonus: very close to 7-Eleven!
Laundry took a while to get a cycle finished, but nice to have laundry!
