Absolutely incredible property & staff!! Everything was perfect!

This property is simply incredible!! Every detail is beautifully considered, from the interior design to the stunning gardens and pool. Breakfast was fantastic, served in a beautiful room, as for the staff, the level of professionalism was outstanding. Massimo’s hospitality was incredible, arranging cars, restaurants, even booking us into a restaurant that was fully booked! His colleague Livia was also super professional and nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. Thank you all for an incredible stay, a truly magical experience.

Wonderful place in every way. A magical hidden villa with spectacular views and magical yet understated comfort and elegance. Massimo is a wonderful host too. Nothing is too much trouble for him. This is a gem and well worth a visit.

Amazing experience

The property itself is absolutely astonishing! So gorgeous! The owners and their staff are super nice and friendly people. The property is in a small village on a big hill, so you really have to have a car for better access, but it’s absolutely worth it. Everything in the property is so nicely designed, with lots of little details, which you can tell, they offer what they like to receive themselves when they travel (at least that’s how we felt). For instance, good and comfortable bed, good linen, amazing pillows (even the ones from memory foam!), beautiful and large bathroom with reasonable amenities etc. We loved it so much, that if we ever come back, we’d love to stay again! This is a small hidden, deluxe Butik Hotel up in the mountains. It was a great surprise to see this establishment and creation, well balanced interior and execution. The stuff and the management who’s excellent.

The view from this location is impeccable. It’s a joy for the eye, the road takes you down to the town Como in 20 min.

Dream Villa with eclectic and artistic touches. A luxuriously unique place and experience.

This place is magical. The main living space is a beautiful light filled room with tasteful and unique objects. It invites reverie. The kitchen is gorgeous. The grounds are beautiful. The breakfast was excellent. Each room is a little different and all is well considered. I even asked for a recipe and was given two :) A very special place. Highly recommended.

You need a car to reach this place and the road up to Brunate is windy and narrow, but views await you at the top.

It’s a steep and precipitous drive up the hill and not for the feint hearted! However a funicular runs up and down from the village to Como, meani mg you can leave the car for day trips or even dinner down in Como.

A magical time in a so magical place

The place is just magic! A gem amongst the hills of lake como! Far enough from the heat of the city yet close enough to not waste time going there. The staff is super sweet and always ultra caring. The rooms, the house and the garden (a true wonder) as well as the pool (quiet spot) everything was perfect. Also the breakfast is great!

Amazing stay!

The property is beautifully decorated and pristine, one of the nicest places we have stayed. The rooms are large and unique, the main house has a communal kitchen and lounge around and immaculate gardens with a swimming pool. Breakfast each day was excellent and plentiful, multiple courses. We were so glad we stayed here! On top of that Cristina and Massimo and everyone else were such lovely kind hosts, we didn’t have a car and they helped us with our luggage from the funicular, as well as giving us routes to hike and advice on where to eat. Would definitely stay again!

This isn’t a negative but the property is about 15-20m fairly steep walk from the funicular. It didn’t bother us to walk it, but good to know before going!

Everything! It was better than expected. The room, the place, the food, the pool, the staff! Everything was done with an eye for every detail. Just perfect!

Nothing to complain about. For future quests, just to know that the location is not easy to reach, and you need a car if you want to visit around. The road is very steep and narrowed. Without knowing this, we had plans to eat every evening in Como, but then we changed our mind and been to the restaurants around the hotel. Also there is a funicular from Como to Brunate, it goes until midnight. From the hotel, downhill is 15 mins walk. Uphill, is steep walking.

We really liked the aura and atmosphere that the owners have created for this place. You can feel that every detail of the interior has been thought out, as well as we felt care for our well-being both from the manager and every employee. We felt welcome. As the villa was located on a hill, it was a lovely opportunity to enjoy the beauty of nature, birdsong and peace. It is beautiful here, both on a sunny day and on a rainy day. Loved starting the day with a swim in the outdoor pool, as well as enjoying a swim in the summer rain. We liked the wide windows and to keep them open both in the room and in the bathroom. We liked the excellent breakfast, lobby room. Free parking. And I got a personal gift, which was a very touching surprise. All this together created an unforgettable charm for this place, where you want to return. We highly recommend this place!

If you drive your own car, you should take into account the narrow serpentine road. We managed it successfully :) If the villa is full, you should take into account that a neighbor may pass by your room (no. 4) and bathroom, which have large windows (to the ground) and a beautiful view of the foot of the mountain. Large windows can also be closed with curtains.

An oasis of tranquility on Lake Como.

We stayed for a couple of nights after five days in Menaggio, and after the manically tourist area of mid-lake this was an oasis of tranquility. The main house (lived in by the owners) is like a fairytale manor, beautiful well maintained grounds, there are just a small number of rooms in two other locations, meaning a small number of guests and helping give a more personal feel and an atmosphere of serenity. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was great, no restaurant but three good ones within a hundred yards, the lounge/breakfast area was a lovely relaxing place to enjoy a few drinks after a day out. All-in-all a wonderful end to a very memorable holiday on Lake Como.

Wow! We stayed all over Como - this was by far the best. Guest offering was beyond expectations throughout the stay and encouraged us to enjoy the Villa and not just the room. The rooms were very tastefully decorated and little touches really made the stay enjoyable. The views from the loungers by the pool were great and staff were very attentive. We wish we stayed longer!

A unique setting and a unique experience which will remain a highlight of our trip.

The breakfast was amazing, apart from the beautiful spread on the table, we all really appreciated the little touches of lovely china, linen napkins, silverware and the charming hospitality of Massimo and the owners really made our stay a unique and special experience. The overall ambience of the beautiful gardens and setting were just exceptional. There was nothing we didn’t like and would have loved a longer stay!

Glorious views from the yard. There is only five rooms to rent. The host was really friendly and helpful during our visit. Breakfast was handcrafted each morning. The decoration was memorable and each piece of furniture was selected with style.
