Amazing stay at old town

I had an absolutely wonderful stay! The apartment was brand new, spotless, and very thoughtfully designed. It had all the modern comforts—fast WiFi, air conditioning, a stylish new bathroom with modern tiles, and free toiletries, including brand new slippers. I especially appreciated the complimentary coffee and the convenience of a refrigerator in the room. There’s also a shared kitchen equipped with dishes, beautifully decorated with charming paintings that create a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. One of the highlights was the stunning terrace with several tables overlooking the lake—perfect for relaxing with a morning coffee or evening drink. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, always available if needed. The secured parking was a big plus, especially considering the location is right in the heart of the old town. Despite being so central, the area was peaceful and safe. I would absolutely recommend this place and look forward to coming back!

Villa Amfora is located in the middle of the Ohrid old town. The room is clean and big and the restroom is clean.

However, it’s just next to the street. If you don’t close the windows during the night, you can hear everything.

I didnt like it because of the host.

The location was good, near to the lake and bazaar. It was also clean and new. It looks at the lake but a small view.

The host was unfriendly, i did not see her/him once. I didnt know the city and I wish he was more helpful and kind about my questions, but he was rude actually, chose not to reply my messages. You just pay the cash, I didnt realize this detail before unfortunately.

Beautiful and unique accomodation experience! If you want to feel the heart of the old city of Ohrid, this is for you. The rooms are so cozy and every little detail carefully chosen. Choose a room with a view to the lake and you never wanna leave this place <3 Also felt super welcommed by lovely host!

This charming villa is nestled in the heart of Ohrid’s historic old town, very close to everything but at the same time the street is peaceful at night, so it is perfect for a good night sleep on the comfortable bed. Our room had a small balcony with a captivating view of the lake, which makes it the perfect spot to enjoy the complimentary espresso that they offer. Every corner of the villa was perfectly clean, and our room and bathroom were spotless. The owners are very welcoming, their warm hospitality and genuine willingness to assist with any inquiries or recommendations will make you feel right at home. In summary, our stay at this place was an absolute pleasure, so if you are seeking for peaceful and memorable stay in Ohrid, I wholeheartedly recommend this villa.

Beautiful house, great location, comfy rooms

We had a lovely stay in Ohrid. The host is really friendly and helpful, the house is exceptionally beautiful, located in the Old town and near many landmarks and beaches. It is near the city center as well, but far enough so it is quiet at night. The house has a terrace which is great for smokers and for just chilling in the night. The beds were really comfy. I really recommend this place!

We spent a wonderful weekend in Ohrid and were very happy that we’ve chosen exactly villa Amphora❤️The villa is located close to the main places of interests and historic spots but remote enough from the city hustle and bustle. Everything inside has met our expectations and is exactly as the photos show. I highly recommend it as a perfect place to explore the cradle of Slavic literacy and Macedonian history❤️

The location is great and is near many landmarks. The price is very attractive and competitive for its location. We even had a small terrace.

It was not mentioned that it was a self checkin/checkout. While this was not really a problem during our stay, i think it is important to mention. From the old town to the villa, it is a little uphill. That was not an issue for me but could be for people over 60.

Well located and comfortable!

Right in the heart of Old Town Ohrid, the property is maximum 15 minutes walking from pretty much anywhere. The room itself was rather spacious and the building looks charming from outside. The staff was easy to coordinate with over WhatsApp and the owner himself came down to help with our car when we had an issue with parking.

Just a couple of things: The pillows were too thick, the AC was not very effective and for some reason our room was not cleaned the next day.

Great location. Extremely clean. The rooms were very nice. I appreciated the coffee machine in the kitchen.

The AC in the bedroom didn’t work properly. It blew out air but not cold air. If anything it made the room hotter.

Wonderful Stay in the Old Town

Newly renovated, but traditional Ohrid house in the middle of the old town, very close to everything you need to see in Ohrid. Comfortable rooms with a sharing kitchen for a coffee in the morning. We had private parking as well. We loved our stay and the owners were very polite. Highly recommended place!

The staff were extremely friendly and laid back. They picked us up and dropped us off at the ferry. The rooms are simple, but have everything you need with small private patios.

It's a 20 minute walk to Mykonos town on a road with no sidewalks.

Would recommend really lovely stay

The room was lovely, just like the pictures & very modern. The view was gorgeous & we liked that they gave you 20% off a couple of good restaurants. Also really handy storage in the room & a fridge & they helped us out with our bus tickets & taxi

You cannot flush toilet paper which is typical in Ohrid & instead have to put it in the bin but the bin they offer is tiny & there is no daily cleaning of the room so it wasn’t emptied for the 3 days we were there. The communal bins in the kitchen were also piled high with food wrappers etc for the whole time we were there
