Good, could have been better definitely.

It was quiet so we had time to relax and enjoy. The pool was good and it wasn’t overcrowded. The garden was nice also where the breakfast was eaten.

First of all, the parking place is limited, if you are lucky you gonna get one or not. It’s a few euros and we couldn’t reserve one cuz our car “wasn’t as big” as the others and the parking was for bigger cars. That would have been acceptable if there was a close place where we could park(one of the staff said that there is a parking around- meaning it’s on the street), but at the weekend we ended up circling around for 30min to find one and didn’t. Once or twice we had luck to park in the parking space. Additionally, I think I read somewhere that we get clean towels and sheets everyday but we didn’t get it at all in four days, and also had a bin full of garbage. For the breakfast it wasn’t that bad, it was as we read- already expected (there weren’t too many varieties of food).

Lovely staff, hotel a tad disappointing-needs a few improvements to customer experience

staff were very friendly, arranged transfer to and from airport and provided a fourth bed for duration of our stay pool was okay, small but with so few people at hotel, it didn't spoil us using it room cleaned daily and any info we needed was provided by reception staff without hesitation 10/15 min walk into main town centre, or 25 minute taxi to nearby town (struga)

breakfast- its not a hotel breakfast as such, more like a few random items laid out each morning, percolated coffee was only option, or a kettle with fruit tea aircon in rooms was poor, barely cooled the room at all, so bought usb fan for bedside as it was extremely warm during our stay (yes rooms- we were allocated room on top floor for first night, and then were moved from night 2 onwards as hotel was overbooked on arrival) booked for what we thought was four people on booking.com, but only offered triple room with option to add another bed, 4 people in one small room was not very comfortable hit and miss bar service-the staff numbers and size of villa mean all staff do everything , so when only 2 staff for full hotel, things aren't like a "normal" hotel wifi is not fit for purpose-that said, wifi in North Macedonia as a whole is very poor, most bars and restuarants don't display codes for free wifi, and then when you do get logged on, they run at 3 or 4 mbps at most..this is a countrywide issue though that needs resolving if tourists are to be encouraged to go

The property is conveniently located near the town center and the lake. The pool is excellent, and the staff is exceptionally kind.

One of the walls in our room was slightly damp, and the sound isolation was not great, as we could hear everything from the hallway.

The breakfast was great, lots of variety. The room was a good size for our family of three. The location was an easy walk to the pedestrian area with lots of restaurants to choose from. Free parking and WiFi were much appreciated!

Unfortunately, the weather kept us from enjoying the pool, but the hotel can't be blamed for that!

The parking area was really small. Not enough space for more than 5 cars, you have to search around the area for parking and all the streets around were super busy! The breakfast was really poor, and the breakfast area was wired. We pay a lot for the facilities that we get! Maximum price for this should be around 25-30€

Exceptional

I came just for one night and ended up staying 3 nights (and wanting even to stay a couple of nights more) my room was much better than expected, and also got a sweet upgrade, with a view straight to the fortress. Bedding is confortable, slept like a baby. Cannot forget as well the attention to details from the owners and the staff. delicious and balanced breakfast, Thanks again for everything, feels like my second home in Ohrid :)

I really enjoyed my stay at the friendly family-run hotel situated a short walk from the old city. From the moment you arrive, you are made to feel welcome. Everyone at the Villa Milka was happy to answer any questions and were always cheerful - creating a lovely ambience.

awful unclean apartment

The place was extremely dirty. They gave us an apartment that was dusty on the floor and also very dusty blankets. The worst part was the hair in the bathroom. Since it was disgusting we asked the owner to change the apartment and she offered us another one, but it was also dusty. The table and chairs on the balcony were sticky. I can’t believe how someone can invest in pool rather than the imperative hygiene things. The pool was green by the way. Even though it was not summer, I guess they should empty the pool instead of leaving it dirty.

I texted before my arrival to the host , she replied 2h before my arrival … I ask about the A/C , she didn’t reply , and in the morning during our check out there was no one … I was freezing all night on 5 degrees !

the water in the bathroom was flooded after use , so it is a bit messy . once check in there is no one to assist when need help. Ecen the taxi service being called by the villa was very rude and charge us 300 dinars to go bus station when she informed us only 2 euros. luckily we still have enough dinars to pay the taxi man.

Totally not worth of this price

I made reservation for 2+1 family. Booking showed mi the price and I agreed on it. Booking also allowed me to increase to better standard of the room for free. On site I had to pay extra for my kid becouse they had to give me better room.... Parking - I was told they have 11 places but only one last left. And again I can pay extra to have it. I agreed becouse it's hard to find parking place. In fact there was no more then 5 cars on the parking all night. Swimmingpool - cold water. If you want to decide to pay extra for this Hotel becouse of swimingpool it's totally not worth it. Take a look under the bed - you can easily find souvenirs from last year. Nobody has cleaned it... Dear owner. Not this way. It's better to get more customer then draw out money from customer who came to you.

Superb

The room was very spacious, quite comfortable and it had central heating/cooling system. Our room went out straight into the pool, which was a pleasant surpruse. The staff were very helpful and nice. It is relatively close to the central walking street and has a market near by.

I did not expect an additional charge for parking at the location, eventhough we had already a booked appartment. Also, this is not anyone's fault but the down side of being down next to the pool and the reception desk is that it gets quite nosiy at night, which is not so bad if you are not putting children to sleep. Generally Vila Milka deserves the high rating it has and I would recommend it!
