Wonderful place, gorgeous little break away I could stay forever

Beautiful place, however the cottage was in need of a deep clean, so much black dust and dirt in so many places. For the amount we spent, expected it to be clean! We loved our stay there though, it’s a little gem, cleanliness just let it down a bit.

An enjoyable short family break in Cornwall in a great location for walking and touring

The hot tub was great. It was also lovely to find on arrival homemade bread, scones with clotted cream and homemade jams, plus milk and butter in the fridge, biscuits, fruit and sweets for the children. Wifi was decent whilst we there. The property was nice and warm which was particularly nice after coming back wet and cold from a day out touring the area. The kitchen facilities were great and we did use them a couple of times to cook simple evening meals after being out for the day. There are lots of great places to visit within reasonable driving distances plus lots of local walks via the coastal paths.

The shower wasn't very powerful but that could have been us not using it properly.

A pleasant delightful place to chill (with hot tub) and stunning nearby locations.

The welcome pack was a lovely surprise including fresh baked bread and a cream tea platter with homemade jams. The hosts were welcoming and had property was like a home from home ready and warm.

we loved the cottage and location. we have never slept in a cottage which was so quite. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. we had breakfast some days which were exalent.hot tub brilliant.loved it

we thought the cottage could of been cleaner, dust on skirting boards and under beds. allso had to buy bleach for toilet.but this would not put me off going back.

Very relaxing, enjoyable stay in a lovely location and dog friendly accommodation.

I liked the layout of the accommodation, it was comfortable and warm and well equipped with a private garden area. It was decorated for Christmas and there were gifts under the tree, including the dog, as well as mince pies and home baked bread.

The garden was well enclosed but the height of the gate and fencing not high enough to be secure for a lively dog. There wasnt anything else not to like.

Great beach getaway with sun sand and surfing!

The location is beautiful, within easy walking distance of the coastal path, a lovely pub and Mawgan Porth. It was a great place to relax after a day out walking and surfing, especially with the hot tub!

The beds weren't the most comfortable and some of the cooking utensils could use replacing (blunt knives etc).

Wonderful holiday cottage

Upon arrival there was homemade bread,scones,jam. Fresh milk in the fridge & cream ( for the scones) tea,coffee and hot chocolate and a little sweetie jar for the children. The cottage was so much more than I thought it would be. Much bigger than I thought and immaculate. Very comfortable beds and super fluffy towels. The garden is beautiful and in the evening there are pretty little lights. So peaceful. Lovely hosts too. Definitely booking again.

Can’t wait to come back!

We had a fantastic stay at Hegarty’s Cottage! The cottage itself was lovely and really comfortable and warm. It had absolutely everything that we needed - we even able to cook full meals with the kitchen equipment. It was perfect for the dog, with the small enclosed garden. Declan and Jean were really lovely and helpful - answered any questions that we had during our stay. The welcome pack with homemade scones and bread were also a lovely touch and very well enjoyed! I think it’s situated in the best location that we have stayed in within Cornwall - it’s a short drive from multiple beaches with a gorgeous backdrop and lovely and quiet. We can’t wait to come back! It’s like a home away from home.

Had a lovely week at Hegarty’s cottage.

Freindly and accommodating hosts, really enjoyed the welcome pack. Abundance of new clean towels. Scones, clotted cream, home made jam, fresh fruit, home made bread, tea, coffee, milk, butter & biscuits. Outside area was ideal for catching the sun and a bbq.😃

Settee very uncomfortable, could do with replacing.
