Relaxed friendly family holiday and as a single parent with three children it made the holiday productive and manageable

It was a lovely caravan and very spacious and clean. The caravan was equipped with everything that we needed for our stay and it was pitched close enough to the amenities. There was also space for parking which was a bonus and we also enjoyed relaxing on the balcony in the evening

We had the most wonderful stay! It was by far the cleanest place we have ever stayed, the beds were super comfy.The facilities were brilliant, and the peaceful, quiet location made it even better. A special thank you to Cheryl, who was absolutely fantastic – she went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us. We couldn’t have asked for more and would highly recommend staying here!

A gem of a caravan park.

The caravan was in a cozy quiet area and also close to the town of Newquay.

No negatives! Cheryl gave us loads of info about the park and our caravan. We felt relaxed even before the holiday began because of the perfect communication.

Highly recommend

The Blue Water Lodge is a perfect base for exploring Cornwall. Comfortable, clean, located in a quiet part of the resort. For us was perfect. It was too far to walk to the beach (or rather the beaches as there are many in Newquay) but we did not mind to drive 10 minutes and park in the city. Often we spent half a day only on the beach, and after a lunch we drove somewhere else. There is a bus stop outside the park for those who rather don’t drive. In Newquay the beaches are located next to each other. You can walk from one to another when tight is low.

Location, size, cleanliness, price, comfort and communication with the host was also very good. The Park itself is a nice place, we did not use any facilities just local shop and pizza, but there are also swimming pools and entertainment for extra money charged by the resort. Off the peak it’s about £22 per week per adult. We were too busy with travelling through Cornwall so we did not use it. The pizza was nice, freshly made and the local shop is also handy. Noticed there was also chippy small shop. The staff are very helpful and give us a lot of recommendations what to see in Cornwall. Darren from reception was very nice and knowledgeable. Lewinnick Lodge restaurant it’s absolutely amazing, about 20 min drive from the resort. Fantastic food and views. Good prices, just slightly more then pubs.

This is probably the best place I've ever stayed, nice and quite and clean and well maintained.

It was a lovely place to stay it was nice and quite and a very friendly staff too. The property was very clean and well maintained. Had a great view of the beautiful countryside. A bus stop over the road from the site, which is a great way to get into town.

I can't really fault anything about this place, however I like to walking/hiking and it maybe nice if there was a map showing places for walking/hiking. Saying that I did find a public footpath just a short walk down the road on the right. This is not a problem and I will definitely recommend staying here.

The property is modern, clean and the owner is always at hand to help with anything you need. Good location in Newquay and a nice location as other lovely towns are only a short drive away.

I would advise taking photographic evidence of anything that may result in your deposit no been re paid. There was rust on the radiator which I was then told I caused in 4nights which I noticed on the first day. I had video evidence of windows been shut as I left but apparently left them wide open and damaged the blinds. The shower would start running and dripping which was annoying during the night. The gas oven nob was broken and was frustrating to cook food with a faulty nob which I found dangerous with a gas oven.

the property was great and very well equipped, a perfect base for a lovely holiday. The owner was very helpful and always easy to get in touch with and helpful with any questions that I had.

Nothing we didn’t like but could have done with a clothes airier for wet swim things.

-Well furnished -Kitchen was good had all of the utensils that you would possibly need and was very well equipped. -2 bathrooms so was much more useful -Loved the patio area, was very clean and nice with good outfoor furniture. -BBQ was a good addition, came with everything we would already need we did not need to buy anything additional for our stay.

-Despite being advertised as having wifi, there was no wifi available in the house. -Service was bad in the area, sometimes it worked and sometimes it didnt. -The kitchen was filthy when we arrived. Grease on the cooker, dirty microwave, the fridge and freezer were filthy and had meat liquid inside of it. We had bo choice but to clean this ourselves which took a good hour/hour and half. But owner contacted us was very nice and apologetic, offered us many discounts. Other than the bumpy start we had, it was a good stay.

Absolutely amazing holiday! Loved every minute of the stay, host is lovely and easy to get in touch with. Pool is lovely and warm and the entertainment is Brilliant for the kids. Caravan is big, spacious, clean and modern. Can't wait to book same caravan again!

The caravan was lovely, location was beautiful the park itself was nice. But unfortunately no power all day Saturday and Sunday morning therefore made it difficult to use the facilities as the park had no electricity. This obviously makes it difficult for self catering. 🙄 Hopefully the matter has been resolved now.

There was no bin liner in the toilet bins and bin under the sink. Bread container was not cleaned and had crumbs, some cutlery was not cleaned.

Highly recommended! Wonderful place to stay in Cornwall

Excellent location, easy to find and well located for visiting Cornwall. Everything you need is at the property! Lovely and spacious, though there was only two of us, would be great for family too just meant we had loads of space! Beds are super comfy, full equipped kitchen with coffee machine (a bonus we hadn't realised). If you plan to eat in there's a large fridge freezer, also a bbq. Parking is next to property so never a problem, and peaceful to sit out on the balcony (we did for breakfast and in the evening!). There's plenty of facilities available on site if you want pools, clubhouse etc. but also plenty of lovely beaches and places to visit within a short drive. Wasn't an issue for us but in case important to you, there isn't wifi at the property, this is only in the public areas. Kind and helpful contact prior, throughout and at end of stay and info on places to visit are there for you at the property. Couldn't have asked for anything better! Only a shame we didn't have time to stay longer!

The caravan was fantastic, very modern clean and spacious. Came fully equipped. On arrival had a welcome message and a clipboard full of useful information about the local area. The staff were very friendly and the whole atmosphere of the site was perfect!

One week stay

Caravan was clean and tidy, very good size too! Shower was very powerful and kitchen fully equipped.

Facilities on site seem good but you aren't allowed to use them unless you pay extra which I only found out from another review. The Nisa shop on site seems to have good stock but isn't open long hours so check that if you need it. Location is okay but you can't really manage without a car. There is a bus but they only come once an hour and no footpath into Newquay so can't really walk all the way. All this is manageable but needs to have more guidance and advise before staying there. Caravan was clean and tidy but the decking needed a good clean.
