Filomena Suite Luxury Apartment

La casa es muy especial, ubicada en el centro de Catania, pero muy tranquila, ya que tiene un patio de entrada y esto hace que no de directamente a la calle ruidosa, si no a una calle trasera más tranquila. La casa es precisosa, es antigua, con techos altos, grandes ventanales. Es muy luminosa y está muy cuidada. La dueña fue súper amable, siempre pendiente y nos dio recomendaciones para visitar.

Al ser un edificio antiguo, no tiene ascensor.

Very nice apartment is a great location! Good communication with host! We loved it! We travel with another couple and we each had our own space!

We liked that the apartment was in a good location near restaurants, convenience stores, as well as a market on weekends.

However our three-night stay was marred by an incident on the first night when we used the hot tub. When we turned on the hot tub function, the entire tub filled with filmy pieces that looked like algae. We quickly alerted the host, who, to her credit, took action immediately. She sent her housekeeper down that same evening to check and the next day, the housekeeper came again to clean the hot tub on the advice of the plumber. We were told it was fine to use as the gasket was fixed but didn’t use it any more during our stay. The upstairs bedroom has a low ceiling so anyone above 1.75m will find it troublesome. The living room was also rather dim as two lightbulbs in each of the wall lights were out.
