MAMARICO' APARTAMENT

A very warm welcome from Riccardo with lots of information about Catania and places to eat. The apartment we booked had a problem so we were offered another one, which was fine. "Quirky and characterful" would be a good description, with a living room, stairs up to a bathroom, kitchenette, bedroom with small balcony overlooking the yard, all traditionally furnished. The inner courtyard was great for parking our motorbikes, though manoevering on the cobbles was a bit tricky. The apartment location is excellent, right by the historic centre and walking distance to all the sights. It is also quite quiet. Riccardo brought us croissants in the morning for breakfast which was nice.

Centrally located, including inner courtyard parking (such a bonus if you have a car in busy Catania) and a spacious balcony too. Outstanding host Riccardo. He helped my partner move the car when we parked a few streets away from the apartment, brought us croissants every morning and gave us recommendations for good restaurants. A lovely guy. Lots of extras (the things you may have forgotten, e.g. razors, toothbrushes etc.). Well equipped kitchen, again with extras such as cling film and foil. Complimentary bottle of wine was much appreciated. Wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Catania.

it was in an excellent location right in the heart of Catania and the staff (Ricardo) was friendly and attentive. The refrigerator was stocked with yogurt, the cupboard held biscotti, shelf stable milk and bread and a bottle of red wine was waiting for us in the living room. Several mornings Ricardo brought us croissants which we enjoyed. Lastly, the bed was comfortable.

We didn’t have hot water initially but once we contacted Ricardo he adjusted the settings and we had hot water.

Location is perfect near the walk street,can enjoy night life.parking lot is great and safe. The service clerk is very friendly and knowledgeable .prepare some tickets for to visit around about spot.
