The appartment is spacious, modern and quiet even though you are close to most main attractions, shops and restaurants in Catania. We loved our private roof-top terrace where could spend mornings and evenings. The appartment is equipped with washing machine which very handy for a longer stay. Also Ferrini home was very friendly and responsive.
The wifi is really weak. If you are only sending emails, messages that is fine but you plan to work and have online meetings or stream a movie, it will get harder. I had to use my hotspot from my phone for those. Also be aware that the pictures in booking.com do not reflect the layout of each apartment. We like a lit the one we gad but it was completelety different from the one on the pictures.

Our flight was delayed and we arrived close to midnight. Our host greeted us cheerfully which was a nice welcome. Apartment is spacious and modern and in a great location right off Via Etna, yet still quiet for sleeping. Outdoor terrace. Good air conditioning . Welcome bottle of wine and water was a nice gesture.
The bathroom is small and shower cubicle tight. Little storage in the bathroom, also needs a shower caddy to hold soap and shampoo. The lights in the apartment are not easy to figure out. There are too many switches. Would help if they were labelled. No microwave as stated . Small things like a dishwashing rack ( no dishwasher), a roll of paper towel ( only one tea towel provided) , a capsule for washing machine . These are small things , but would be appreciated.

The location is superb! You've got everything you want as soon as you step out. The host also gift you a leaflet with information of where to go for food / activities etc.
I would've love the opportunity for a late checkout option without having to pay for another full day.
